I'm quite a food critic and have decided to avoid many restaurants due to over priced food, bad service or average meals. But at Mac Gregor's I was pleasantly surprised. Even the steak was perfectly done. We had breakfast and supper here 2 days in a row, with truly friendly lovely staff, situated on the premises of The Baths resort.

They get a 5 star for the food. We ordered chicken schnitzel and ribs. We were very specific with the order and it arrived perfectly done. When visiting The Baths, have some lunch. Thwy are also reasonably priced.

Forgot to pack dinner for the first night at The Baths... Wonderful schnitzel special, good bottle of wine, and amazing service. The malva pudding for dessert was delicious.

This restaurant is not very well experienced It lacks a good chef food very average . I was very disappointed they need some searching so that they can present themselves as a good eatery . Ordered chips which were not crispy The spareribs over cooked so sent back Table of 13 people it could have been better . If you want to serve food be the best

The food and menu is average. Its useful to have a basic restaurant on the premises in case you don't want to cook. They don't serve the garlic/chilli/parmesan with their pizza which was disappointing. It closes early on a Sunday at 6pm and open until 9pm in the week. The waitresses were excellent and very attentive.

Certainly not the widest menu on earth, but the food is delicious. Well done! The price of the items are really reasonable with large portions. It is a lovely setting and restaurant with excellent service.

Had the pizza...waited 1 hour...1 other table in the restaurant. Pizza base was so hard one could not cut into it...when questioned the waitress...she did not know what happened. No feed back was brought back to us from the kitchen. Had to ask once again....answer came back from the chef...nothing was wrong. We paid and left...how sad.

Regulars to the restaurant for many years. Very conveniently situated within the resort. Staff ALWAYS very friendly and helpful. Service quick and efficient. Food good with reasonable sized portions. Lovely view. Wonderful sitting outside and sipping cocktails, surrounded by trees and the sound of the stream.
