It's a beautiful place, so peaceful. The cherry on top was waking up in the morning and see animals grazing couple of metres from the lodge

Amazing reserve. Drove in saw rhino and a ton of different buck as we got in. Segway tours and restaurant food are amazing

This is the reception area at Tala Game Reserve. Besides the cultural set up of African accessories, the staff provides spectacular service. They know how to communicate and lease with clients.Just excellent!

This Paperbark LodgeAccommodation is wonderful.. . 3 star lodgeLovely rooms with big tub and outside shower large comfortable bed.Patio to watch the animals graze outside the door.Pool is clean and well taken care off.This great open spaces to relax and watch the wild life.Restaurant is a little gem small and cozy to accommodate few people, food steaks n breakfast delicious , toasted sandwiches good as well but veg pasta not good at all stay away.Staff are friendly and helpful they are really good.Room turndown service is excellent.Tala as a whole is a magical experience with wilderness at your door step.I saw rhinos , giraffes, warthogs, birds , Buffalo, all types of deer antelope buck hippo zebra

Perfect getaway for durbanites. 50min drive. Lots of aminals to see and keep the kids engaged. On-site restaurant has decent meal options, incl some venison dishes. Staff make the greatest of efforts. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Roads are okay, you can use a car but have to drive cautiously.

Superb place for functions or game drive getaway close to Durban. Staff are friendly and the food is good. Staff hospitality skills can be improved - some of them don't understand what the job is about. They can mix up your catering order and don't actively manage the staff. Intentions are good but lacking in understanding.

Beautiful setting, and the rooms were clean and neat. Animals come right to your door, however the service could be better as after 5pm don't bother calling as there's no one to help.

Nice selection of game to view. Tasty food at the restaurant and clean facilities. However dirty swimming pool detracted from an otherwise good experience. Roads quite rough as well.

Simply awesome. Nature on your doorstep. Good, friendly service, great staff, amazing food. Definitely a must for an overnight stay.
