I have been doing kungfu for the past three years. Having transitioned from karate I can confidently say that kungfu at the martial centre has broadened my skills in both self defence and technique. Sifu Mark is a highly knowledgeable teacher that makes the learning experience more impactful. It is a fun environment. And as a young woman I feel that learning kungfu has made me more confident in my abilities to defend myself in the real world.

Excellent kung fu and tail chi training. Sifu Mark has in depth knowledge of the applications of martial arts and is a natural teacher who is passionate about his craft. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Tai Chi and Kung Fu classes has been a regular for my family these past 5 years. We wait to go for the hour as it calms and relaxes you after a busy day. We on our feet a lot operating in theatre and i have found less calf pain with the Tai Chi and knee strengthening. Sifu Mark is an amazing teacher and is always ready to show you no matter how long it takes for you to grasp it as Tai Chi is of course not as easy as it looks. But the feeling when u get it right is really great. I don't look like the Tai Chi experts in the parks of Ho Chi Minh but i can only hope i will be soon.

I have been going to the Martial Centre for many years and brought my son when he was 8 . An excellent centre in the south of johannesburg for training and life skills. Sifu Mark shares his in depth knowledge and wisdom both in his own professionalism and expertise. The best place to develop character, inner strength and martial skills. His calm, caring yet disciplined, focussed and innovative approach makes training exciting and always interesting . The school offers a wide range of martial skills which brings a nice variety… highly recommended for all ages.

Joining this Martial Arts school was probably the best decision I've ever made. I wasn't the most confident kid growing up, the great instructor Sifu Mark helped me build my confidence and ultimately my character. You learn more than just how to do fancy moves, you gain discipline and focus. The students that's are part of the school are also special to me, there's no ego's, only friendly competition and they always willing to help.I've been part of the school for 11 years now and have done other forms of Martial arts at different places but none compared to the knowledge I gained from Sifu Mark.

Fantastic place to learn traditional Kung Fu along with many other things like Tai chi and practical self defence. I've been a student here for over 7 years and I'm always looking forward to the next class! The environment is very friendly, the place is very well maintained and everyone is welcomed with open arms. Definitely the best martial arts school around!
