Guest House BUNKER PLACE (Self Catering)

Patick was an absolutely amazing host, he went out of his way making my colleague feel welcome. He also refered me to another guest house when he had no availability at his own guest house. Bunker place is a home away from home, where once can find tranquility away from the hustle and bustle. It has a modern yet cottage feeling to it. Its close to public transportation, shops and the beach. I would recommend bunker place to anyone who needs a break from the world, be it 2nights or a week. Pricing per night is really good and it wont be found anywhere else.

My name is Ms Gisela Gordon and I'm a qualified Institutional Counsellor.I was invited as a Quest Speaker to attend a Team Building Event which was held at Bunker Place in May.The location is extremely therapeutic and serene, perfect for Conferences and Team Building events. I felt at home and welcomed by the owner, Patrick and will definitely make plans to go there again!

The place is a good hide away in some safe suburb in Lakeside Cape Town. Enjoyed my evening walks and the hospitality of the owner and staff is phenomenal. A real hidden gem, tranquil, peaceful, central and affordable. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a home from home. The best experience I've had in Cape Town! I'm currently staying in Dubai and came down for a 3 week holiday, my mom found this place for my husband and I and man were we blown away. Patrick and Hope were amazing, available and very attentive. We had some friends over for a braai the one evening and even had our little intimate wedding ceremony, it was such a special time for us. From originally just booking for 1 week to almost staying the full 3 weeks. We can't thank Patrick enough for his hospitality and can't get enough of this breath taking place! Will be back soon

What a gem of a place! A home away from home. All we wanted was much needed rest... and we received it in abundance. Patrick, the host and owner, has acquired the skill of making you feel at home. Such hospitality we have experienced lacking at more prestigious establishments. Well done sir... we will surely be back.

Lizelle and I so enjoyed staying at the Bunker Place self catering set at the bottom of the Steenberg Mountain, loved the view from there. Patrick Johannes owner of Bunker Place was so kind to ask his friend in the local security to show us a short cut to the US Embassy. Patrick please thank your friend for us. Really love the feel of this place, every room unique with well thought out comfort. The view Nestled between and array of trees and with multi tier platforms to suit your level of comfort. A lovely place, sort of... cross between a bunker and smugglers den perfect for a guys weekend or couples break away...

Bunker Place is a true hidden gem. It has become my favourite get away spot. Breathtakingly beautiful environment and so tranquil. Rooms are very spacious and living areas are warm and welcoming. The owner, Patrick, is a fantastic host and makes you feel right at home. I was also very impressed with the attention to detail and personalized touch to my room. Will definitely be back.

I had a wonderful stay at BUNKER PLACE the host Patrick and his staff welcomed us with warm hand, the place was clean and the room was neat and tidy with fresh clean lean , it was like home away from home,the shops and restaurant place just a walk away, the beach is also a walk away, I definitely recommend it to every one to go and experience the nice peaceful birds sound in the late afternoons by the patio over looking the sea view , the place is nice and quiet its also child friendly , my daughter had the best time stay there .We all did !!!!!!!! definitely go there again
