A great value for money option. The medium calzone can definitely fill two people. Pretty impressed, just wish the depth of flavour was a little better. Will be coming back to try the pasta!

On arrival at 6pm I had a tough time finding parking. Nothing they can do about that though, limited space. The place was busy but we got a table. Service was slow. I ordered a 300g rump steak and salad. The steak I got was very well prepared and tasty - but... I'm not sure it was rump, it had strange slices made at odd angles in the meat before I received it so it looked bad. The steak was much tougher than I expect of rump, about the consistency of sirloin, must have been my bad rump day. My meat was not warm enough upon receiving it after a long wait. The salad was great, tasty and abundant. The atmosphere was nice, a lot of loud talking but no noisy music drowning out conversation. The extra chili I ordered was perfect.

Frequented Ginos on Boksburg many years ago. It was so refreshing and brought back many memories.I can't remember our waitress but she was awesome. This was just after 11am on Saturday. We were the Father and daughter Sat in the corner by the Windows with sun.

Always satisfying, and well worth the drive to Stellenbosch from Somerset just for Gino's. Service was quick and pizza was excellent as always. They have been consistently great over the years and it shows with the returning clientele.

We use to eat here when we were at US, but years went by and we got the urge. Man o man nothing changed... the food is HUGE and the beers/drinks CHEAP... i know they cater for the students. It was a nice evening popping back into our old lives and enjoying the atmosphere... and so much food, we had lunch for the next day.

Best spot for a pizza and beer in town. It’s always busy, good to have a reservation, but whenever we went, we didn’t have to wait more than 15-20 minutes for a table. The pizzas are delicious, lot of toppings, lot of options.

THIS is how I remember Gino's... simply superb!The pizzas are as they were 30 years ago and the venue is a Cape Dutch home with beautiful wooden beams flanking the inner roof.The owners are 100% hands-on and it always comes through in the quality of the food. I rate their calzone highly: the texture is crispy and fluffy on the outside and the inside is stuffed with fresh ingredients.The staff can definitely do better with presenting tables to customers when arriving, just by simply wiping the tables down and sorting the cushions along the wall out. They tend to not care too much about how tidy the venue is, but their menu knowledge is good and does salvage the mood.Try the Mozzarrella in Carrozza for a starter if you're a cheese lover. So worth the calories!Also, the Tartufo coccao is a delicious dessert... have it with the espresso!
