I love Kickass Ice cream, it's the only Ice cream I eat. Especially there vegan flavors. They have new flavors every month, I tried the apple crumble pie (no it's not vegan)... So yum!

I went on a Sunday afternoon for scoop of ice cream after eating close. The place was very crowded but the staff (very helpful) was working fast and in a matter of minutes everybody left with their order. They had fourteen different flavours, different kind of coffees and waffles with a scoop in the top (that somebody else was ordering and looked great). I had the roasted cherry with dark chocolate flavour, and from my group I also tasted the chocolate chip cookie, chocolate with Oreo and banting (no cane sugar) strawberry, and even when it was not the better that I have had in Cape Town, it was good for the price.

Very tasty homemade ice cream with the most delicious flavours. I had the gooseberry flavour and coffee and chocolate. I loved the coffee n chocolate but the gooseberry flavour was a definite hit for me with just the right amount of sweet n sour.

So yummy! I had the best flavor ever, dark chocolate and cherry! It was absolutely amazing. There were pieces of dark chocolate and cherries in every mouthful. Their service was great as well. The lady scooping the ice cream was super helpful to clients who were ahead of me in line. She allowed them to taste and asked what flavours they like in general to help them make a decision. I thought she was great.

Best place to enjoy the most delicious ice-cream in the most exquisite setting. Our son's weekend treat from when it 1st opened. Go enjoy this special treat whilst sitting in the most beautiful rose garden. Order a bottle of Uitsig wine while the kids enjoy a selection of amazing ice-cream. Great family outing for all ages. No pets allowed so please leave your fur animals at home.

My regular ice-cream stop with the best view. Love the variety of flavors they have and often coming out with new ones. Though I do miss the old staff at the uitsig branch, they were the friendliest ever and so wonderful with the kids. But would always recommend Kristen's if someone asks for the best ice-cream in Cape Town!

If you're an ice-cream lover, then this place will be paradise for you. Don't expect your general run-of-the-mill flavours, as these house brands are a breed of their own. Vegan options are available. Prices start at R32 for a generous scoop and R3 extra if you want it in a sugar cone. Sit on their terrace and soak up the amazing views of the surrounding vineyards and mountains.

Found this gem today definitely added to my favourites list. The service was great, the flavour’s of ice-cream was “kick-ass”. We ordered waffles and my daughter’s comment was it’s to beautiful to eat. Well deserved 5 stars from my family and I. Will definitely be back soon!!
