The campsite is like a little slice of Breede river magic. Beautiful places to swim, and the sunsets from up on the farm section are spectacular. Something really special brewing here for sure.

The Gaia Sanctuary
We loved our stay at Gaia as the first campers at the sanctuary. The reception was great and Swellendam were all the owners we had contact with. It is a pet friendly campsite and our Trixy enjoyed her stay very much! We recommend this off grid camp site right next to the Breederivier.

Great little campsite, loved it there. We only stayed one night but the dogs really enjoyed it! A few things to note for people that might want to know:- you can get there in a normal car, no high clearance vehicle is needed- there are 6 campsites, they are quite small and close together which is perfectly fine- There is 1 fire pit and 1 braai available- Where you swim is a quick 2 minute walk awayDefinitely worth a visit, will be back again
