AfriCamps Klein Karoo

I went here with my friend during COVID in October 2021 and have forgotten to write my review yet but I specially want to use this to thank the owner of the property: Piet!!We were the only clients and the property is amazing. The meerkat game drive in the reserve is breathtaking. It’s huge, plenty of wild and even giraffes. The ostrich farm tour afterwards is also a must do. We brought 6 eggs to Germany, fed the whole family for weeks.My personal highlight tho was that when Piet heard that I was trying to catch my first black bass during the garden route road trip, he offered my to fish his Dam. In fact I went there in the evening and actually caught a huge bass. One of the coolest catches of my life. Thank you man!! Friendly staff and cleanliness. A getaway from the buzz. However, wifi as advetisied was very weak to non-exsistent even after connecting to the office wifi and informing the staff.

The camp is new. Everything works. It is family friendly. This is a self catering place and it has a fair share of party people " though nothing too bad after dark. This was my 2nd time this year and the camp host greeted me like family. There isn't anything much to do at camp and the road noise is pretty constant... so this isn't a Cape Nature property but then again this one is pet friendly so who cares about all that noise?"

What a great escape for a family breakawayClean, comfortable, lovely surrounds and the catering brought to your rooms was so awesome. Kids keep begging to go backVery welcoming and run by passionate people. We enjoyed lazy pool days and truly felt relaxed on departure.

We enjoyed our stay at Africamps! It was a bit cold, but the fireplace made it nice and cozy inside. Beautiful camp area and close to nature. The tent was nice and private and all the necessary things are included. Warm beds, hot shower, beautiful sunset, overall a good experience. Staff members were friendly and helpful

Perfect Klein Karoo experience! We loved ALL of this camp. Super clean, well maintained, the staff were helpful and accommodating. If you plan in advance they’ll even provide you with breakfast and dinner baskets that are lovely. Close to many local attractions as well. This is GLAMping!

We have stayed here a bunch of times. Had a good time on each visit. Nice swimming pool. Some animals roaming about. Tranquil. Recommended.

We stayed there in December and found the price point didn't offer the value. The offering is too basic for the price and important things, like the pool, we're broken or dirty. If you offer a pool, which is critical in the summer, keep it clean.There are better options available in the valley close by.Also, a friend was supposed to join from Germany and couldn't make it due to the strict travel restrictions foe Europeans in December but the establishment refused to offer a refund for him.Regret but I will not be staying at any AfriCamps in the future.Sincerely Justin

Very nice to do glamping in South Africa. Very nice tents and the views are amazing. We did a Meercat tour; we did not only see the meercats but also giraffes.I can really recommend this place.

Great place to stay! We loved the view. Clean tent and fresh drinking water in the fridge.
