I have never liked Checkers - always picked-up problems in past. But they have upped their game, and Bredasdorp has been my 1st choice for shopping since we moved into area.

This particular Checkers has a great selection of products provided that those products happen to be in stock when you are looking for them. If you ask when something will be in stock again, the honest answer is that a lot of the time, no one knows when that particular thing will just reappear on the shelves. Very often, there are only 1 or 2 tills open during the after work rush, especially during load shedding or when people are trying to rush home to cook before load shedding hits. It is often particularly busy on the last Saturday of the month. Sushi is pretty good.

Staff has no desire to help youManagment is probably worse due to this issue just getting worseI've not encountered a single friendly person at that place. The cashiers can barely speak outside their mouth or at least complete words. Last time I was there I heard her ask me Plassy" and I asked her to repeat it like 7 times and eventually she grabbed a plastic bag and showed it to me and I pronunciated it in front of her

Great place to shop and the meat here is fabulous. Better than most butchers in the area.Vacuum packed meat helps keep food fresh and tasty.

Products nice and fresh staff just needs to work on there atetudes expesially at bakkery can't sell sweet stuff and staff faces looks like they had something sour and don't exually want to help u make a open display so clients can help themselves

Excellent modern supermarket, lots of product, very clean and lots of helpful staff. Close to a UK shopping experience, but with lower prices. So it was easy to find everything we needed, despite being visitors. Liked the flow of fresh veg, to meats, to bakers then on into general groceries. Access was also simple, good parking under the solar canopies and the additional outlets lift it to a shopping village feel.

Checkers has everything I need, I just don't understand why the meat prices have sky rocked these past few months. I used to get all my meat products from Checkers, but for the past 6-7 months, I just can't afford it anymore!

Terrible terrible service, staff push in lines, tell you to shut up, slow, i have never experienced such a badly managed store in my whole life, and it's not the first time, happens regularly!!!

This little mall is a life-saver when you're out of the road and need urgent essentials.You can find them here - and at a decent price.Staff are helpful and will go the extra mile to help find what it is you're looking for .There are also (clean) public toilets available and there are patrolling security people to help you feel safer.The parking is covered with solar panels - that is this mall living in the future - so very impressive
