Four trails to choose from. Clearly and visible marked. Two trails roam with the wild, one to the top of the mountain ( exceptional views )One resort hike. Accommodateing beginner ( family oriented) to experienced hiker. Neat and clean toilet facilities, exceptional picnic area overlooking the dam, also visit the Wonderboom Forest. Braais, grits picnic benches ample parking AND OVER NIGHT FACILITIES......( in progress bar and restaurant with pool bonus waterfall on mountain route )Other activities available. Mony and time well spend. RECOVERY AVAILABLE IF YOU OVER ESTIMATED YOUR capebilitys.

Always, but always a blast! From the facilities to the 4x4 routes, this place is a gem!! Do yourself a favour, visit them, make it a day, there are well kept braai areas, play areas for the kids, wildlife, a bar and a swimming pool. Top notch!

De wildt is an awesome 4x4 track. The course is technical and challenging. It's a combination of rock and sand climbs. They is wild game and the most beautiful views. Swimming and braai too. I'm sure the walking trails are just at beautiful.

De Wildt Picnic and Nature Hike
Very enjoyable, well marked trails with beautiful mountainous and wildlife scenery.The trails are laid out in such a way that you hike on a combination of inclines, rocky surfaces and flat surfaces. Perfect for the intermediate and beginner hikers.The staff are also very friendly and well versed in the hiking trails.Looking forward to visiting your facilities again.

We hiked the pink trail just for fun one afternoon. Not difficult (4year old walked it). saw giraffe and a few buck species. really a nice walk, there is longer routes as well through the park.
