I contacted a Lloyd from AAmpere Appliances about fixing my heat pump that regularly beeps with a E5 error and sometimes switches off and reeds to be restarted.He promised that he could fix it and there would be no call out fee. He came out on Monday 1st August and opened the unit and spent 20 minutes inspecting the workings and then went back to his car and spent ½ hour on his phone (googling?) and then returned and we agreed on R850 to do the repairs. (50% after the repair and 50% after 24 hours of testing). He drilled unnecessary holes below the unit cover to drain some water and fiddled with some connections then closed the unit saying he had done a service and it was fixed. I paid him the 50% and he promised to return Tuesday to collect the other 50%. A few hours later, I experienced the exact same beeping sound and E5 error. We contacted him again and he promised to come out on Tuesday to fix the problem but did not come out. We contacted him again today (Wednesday) but we are still waiting for him.
