Ordered a Mince and a Chicken Mayo vetkoek. When it came it looked like thin base pizza with a little bit of filling in the middle.NOT GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY.Never again.

The soet boeties are the only thing that made driving 5km to them worth it. The people are rude, and after being warned an hour in advance that they want to close at 17:00 they showed me exactly how hasty they are to get home. The curry on the 'beef-curry' vetkoek was even still raw. Sad to say, Im disappointed.

I love the place and it was very cozy definitely enjoyed the vetkoek with mince but what I expected was something totally different. A vetkoek as it states is not a flat koek. Overall everything was great and delicious.

Food is always ALWAYS fantastic, from the Vetkoek to the pizza and the soetboeties. Everything they attempt to make is soooo delicious. Will go back and back and back again!

Worth the 40mins+ drive, a friend recently recommended this “hidden gem” for a taste of our old South African favourite, the Vetkoek.We were not disappointed at all. Thank you for the experience.

This is a little gem in Silverton. The atmosphere is very nice and the vetkoek is amazing. The owner turned up the creative juice when time were tough in Covid and overcame all her challenges.
