A lovely surprise in the middle of your adventure of swimming some of the best rock pools, hiking or biking (motorcycle) the best twisties. Decent grub and drink for the needy traveller with great service, nice views and relaxed family friendly atmosphere.

The food and service is great and value for money. the place is rustic and has spectacular views of the mountains. On a cold day they make some fires in the semi outdoor areas. Probably better when the weather is good. Thus olace and the pass that is finally open is well worth a visit

Cool little spot with friendly dogs to welcome you. Tucked away in the mountains with stunning views. Great place to stop for a drink, watch some sport on TV or just to catch up with friends.

Lovely little Pub right at the end of Bainskloof Pass. They serve a normal, no frills pub grill menu (steak, burgers/ pizzas) at very affordable prices. The food was good. We had steak and a burger. Both were done as requested and nice. They only serve with chips, no other side options.The venue has plenty of outside seating. We elected to sit there as it was sunny and nice out. There is a deck as well as an roofed outside area, with a little pool and a play area for kids. Then there is a bar area which I did not enter, but my parter reported it to be nice".The highlight for me however

We stopped here on the way home after a trip to Klondyke farm to pick cherries. The vibe is pretty chilled. There's a swimming pool and a jungle gym. It's kiddie friendly. We had pizzas and they were delicious! Service was a bit slow and food took long, but definitely worth a stop.

The location of this place is really awesome. Food is good. Had the steak. They have some local beers as well. Outdoor seating with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. Accessible via R43 or the beautiful Bain's Kloof pass

First time visitor. Absolutely breath taking views, exceptional service from the young gentleman, yummy food, coffee in a plunger, and 2 fur kids getting/giving love.

I will start by saying it was busier then usual in that a lot of bikers were stopping in on the way back from the Beaver Rally. We had confirmed our group coming from Cape Town of about 30 people. The wait however for the food and total lack of communication in terms of the delay was unacceptable. Many people had also finished their breakfast by the time the toast arrived, and then lack of communication again meant they did not know certain of us had in fact settled bills and we were delayed in leaving as we got challenged about unsettled bills.

What a perfect setting, on the foot of the Bainskloof mountain pass. The atmosphere and setting is absolutely amazing. They have the best pizza and sauce in the area! It's worth the 15min drive from the nearby towns. Always arive and leave with a smile.
