Toys R Us Canal Walk Shopping Centre

Terrible service by staff. I requested assistance with a specific lego item, I was told go look yourself in the front, if you don't see it we out of stock. I was shocked and left,went to the lego shop in the mall and purchased there.

worst costumer service i’ve ever had!!called to hear if they have something in stock and the lady responded in a condescending manner, “what’s that” and i tried to explain but ended up saying nevermind and she put the phone down in my ear. (canal walk)

Horrible customer service. Hardly anyone on the floor, and when asking for assistance you are completely ignored whilst staff continue their own conversations. I’ve been a loyal customer to the store, but am always appalled by the fact that you are always told to wait and have to run after the staff who pretend not to hear you or take note of you.

Not the best unfortunately. I had to search for what I needed. There were no floor workers in sight. I also found it frustrating that a store that specializes in kids toys had very little Super Hero toys while we r in a time where most kids r hooked in super heros.

Only giving this store one star , should be no star due to the lack of service given from the Toys R Us Canal Walk Shopping Centre staff. Was at the store 19th Dec and 24th Dec , requested assistance from staff on both days just to get the response that they don't stock it. Was looking for a baby walker on the 19th and a princess Jasmine doll 24th. The lack of service from the staff forced me to purchase baby walker at another store and I had to search for princess Jasmine at the store myself after told by a staff member that Toys R Us do not stock princess Jasmine, I was literally on my knees re-arranging the princess dolls and finally found one.#Poor service and sad because this is our favourite store.

I must admit the cashiers have terrible customer service, no way of talking ro customers and love having their own chit chats rather thaet helping people.The other staff on the floor is rather nice and they have a big variety of items. Will I visit here again I doubt it because customer service sucks..

Super elated with the customer service l got from the staff at Canal walk, especially Lindiswa. She went out of her way to make sure that l got my vitality gift box. I will definitely come back again and recommend anyone to come to this store.

Usually never have an issue but I went today, shop was practically empty. Only one lady was at the till. She called someone else to help me, few minutes later the person arrived. I wanted to purchase a game, so the lady had called someone over the intercom to come assist. No one pitched, and after 5 mins, they called him again. Now 15 minutes of waiting for the person,still no luck. The lady at the counter then said she will go to the back, another 15 mins, no one pitches, the second lady decided to go to the back to fetch the original lady. By this time there had been a queue building up and no one at the tillls to assist. After 10 mins both ladies arrive. I need to mention that during this time there had been employees walking around and noticed the Queue but it did not bother them too.
