With the intro of the play area, Townsend Park has become a popular park for the family. The perfect place to take your dog for a walk or an open space for a picnic. Take note that there are no public toilets though.

It was nice to have a grass area close by to walk my dog. It was just a pity that too many locals walk too many dogs here without leads, just because there is poo everywhere as they don't pick up after them when not on a lead.

Nice play area for older kids , could do with a few swings etc for smaller kids. But all in all a nice big park where kids can run about and play

What an amazing park. A great place to walk around, especially if you have dogs. The people I chat to while doing laps for exercise are always so friendly.

Great day at Footys with the kids. Good 5 a side pitch with astro turf and fully netted. New surface on the basketball area. Needs restrooms and changing facilities.

Great park and one of the few wide open public parks in Ballito. Great for running the dogs, playing frisbee or just going for a walk. Kids love it with the playpen right there. Also don't miss the Butterfly Forest next to the Scout Hall, a bit of indigenous forest.

Love relaxing here catching some ballito air on a Sunday jog. This park has a serenity to it that I adore.
