It was so nice . I went shopping confectionaries with my younger sister. There are a wide range of products: gaming tools , electronics, food etc.

After Walmart took over they no more are the cheapest.. A welding machine costs R2700 at cashbuild its R1700.. I stopped taking their prices to be the cheapest... Seldom buy from Game now although I grew up being a loyal Game shopper... End of a good company... N u wonder why they end up closing

My mother bought a Plasma TV at game just this past December 2021 at Game in Mthatha Plaza. They started using or trying to use the TV a few days ago as they were not home during the December holidays so the TV was at home still in its box. When she turned the TV on, it kept going on and off repeatedly and she took it back to the store. She was told the TV would be returned to the supplier to examine the problem and would be called when it is fixed. To our surprise, she was called today and told that the problem was the power button in the TV hence it went on and off and that there is nothing they can do as it is physical damage. The TV has no visible physical damage, how does a faulty power button become physical damage??? The TV was bought last month and never used until they came back from holidays, it has no physical damage whatsoever but my mom is told to come collect it! I would really like to see the report of the assessment that was done on this TV which informs this non-existent physical damage". Our parents are really taken for a ride by these mainstream retailers. I have been going through some reviews here and I have noticed that this "physical damage" spin is frequently used to mask the supply of sub-standard goods to consumers. I will exhaust all avenues to make sure my mom is exempted from this daylight robbery!!"

Very poor service, under staffed been waiting for someone to void a transaction for an hour after waiting in line for 20 plus minutes cause there's only 2 cashier out of 12 tills. Not our first incident similar to this. Mthatha Plaza game needs to train staff they don't know how to solve general problems, not apologetic for wasting time and very slow when walking.

One of the biggest shops at Mthatha Plaza. The store is neat and one as an easy access to things as they are packed accordingly. They have hands on staff that are helpfulDisadvantage : There seems to be no ventilation as the temperature outside is the same as indoor

Service at Game Plaza is very poor at the delivery point. Inside the store service is not quick due to lack of staff . I stood by the delivery gate without anyone trying to hear me out. There were people outside but they felt to continue with what they were doing. Eventually after 20 minutes outside the gate the security lady guard came to me and wanted to see the receipt. Woow this is a bad experience ever.

Been to buy a lawnmower, been to buy extension lead, walking ring, baby chair. Stock displayed is not close by. When asking for assistance they make you wait 45mins-1hour to tell you they dont have stock. (And you dont know if they forget about you, get sidetracked, etc.)I am forcing my way to the till as we speak with the display piece. Will have to fight there as there is nobody to assist in the isles.Only 3 tills open, long queues. Many tills closed. UnderstaffedEvery shop has its down side, but game mthatha has disappointed me every time.

If I could give a negative rating I would! Absolutely horrid service. Came in to buy a TV and 45 minutes later I still haven’t received assistance after looking for a staff member! I’ve been told that only one person is working in this department,how during this time of the month.You’d be better off buying online!
