Biga Artisan Bakery Cafe
Great discovery close to the town of Hermanus. Working bakery and restaurant in one. A beautiful display of freshly baked cakes, breads and other delicious items await you on your arrival. Step outside into the garden and experience tranquility perfect for your cappuccino or glass of wine. Many great food items to choose from or else request a freshly baked item from the bakery. Service from the staff is friendly and helpful at all times.

Looks like a small coffee shop from the outside, but we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. Working bakery serving lovely food and good coffee. Inside and outside seating. Fire place. Also bread and other baked and hand made goodies to buy.Lovely hideaway on a rainy day.

Lovely courtyard in the back with a relaxing ambience. Reasonable prices and big portions. Cheese burger a bit strange with cheese sauce and not a slice of cheese. The burger roll was also very doodgooi" (dense). Chips were a bit oily. Would prefer if the bakery items in the front were covered."

Bought a pepper steak, Bobotie and a chicken and mushroom pie. Just beyond yummy. Super buttery crust packed with delicious filling. Will definitely stop there when in Hermanus again!

Best coffee shop in the area.Fantastic food and excellent baked goodie selection.The milkshakes: divine.The coffees: delicious.Food portions are well made and generous!Great, personalised service and a great atmosphere sitting out in the private garden.Come for a quick coffee, or stay for a nice long 3 hour lunch!A few extra wine by the glass options would be great!

It is a quirky place that serves great coffee in a rustic environment. We have enjoyed the Sunday lunch, which was tasty and good value more than gastronomic delight.The outside courtyard brimming and surrounded with greenery is my favourite spot and very calming. I have had a number of meetings with clients that have gone well as a result.There is a good selection of pies, cakes and breads, all baked on site, to take home with you.

An artisanal experience with the most down to earth atmosphere, lush green gardens and oversized portions to delight any hungry tummy. From the moment we arrived and walked into an array of sweet & freshly baked delights, then leaving after a lekker cappuccino & toasties, we felt completely at home. We ordered a sourdough toasted chicken sarmie to share and had to leave with a doggie bag of half the half portion. A real value for money" & very #lekker experience."
