Loved the coffee. Loved the croissant. Thought the lady serving us was a bit too pushy, not giving you time to breath and take in what's available. Normally enjoy interacting with staff, so felt a bit pressured into making too quick decisions. Lovely place to sit, relax and take on the atmosphere though. Would visit again.

I was surprised by this underrated gem. We had a pleasant, shady spot outside where our little dog was welcome. The service was excellent. They offer a breakfast that includes eggs and bacon, with either a croissant or sourdough bread. You can also order any of the treats inside including gelato. Both the almond and plain croissant were very fresh and thoroughly enjoyed. I explored their sushi menu, since I noticed the salmon being freshly prepared through the window. Their platters are reasonably priced by Knysna standards, and it's beautifully presented. I can also appreciate that they serve their food and drinks in sustainable containers.The shaded outside seating is perfect to work on a laptop without glare, and it's not as noisy as other places on the island. The Americano I had was very delicious. I will definitely be returning.

Our food took forever to be made. We eventually just took it as a takeout as we were fedup waiting. Guys, when the Oyster Festival is on and you know you’re going to get more customers than normal, employ more people to help out! How difficult is this to grasp?

So you must order what you want to eat and drink inside and pay. Then lovely trees and shady spots to sit. Fantastic sushi and the chef even came to serve us! Lovely delicious fresh salmon! Nice frappe no sugar and really refreshing!
