Thank you very much Edward Brown at VW Parow dealership for making the purchase of our new car pleasant and easy. Edward went out of his way to provide the best possible deal. He came in during his holiday to help complete admin and in addition to that collected us from home to collect our new car. I had the most amazing experience working with Edward and VW Parow dealership, best I've ever had interactions with. I am a very unhappy black female customer right now because of Bidvest McCarthy VW Parow, for their appalling customer service.On Saturday the 25th March my one month old 2021 T-Cross packed up on me. The car wouldn’t ignite and dashboard was just blank and windows couldn’t close. I called the Sales Person Lutziano and he told me he was few kilometres away and can’t help and advised that I should call the Road Assist line. I called the VW Road Assist and they promised that a technician will come out, they then called me back again to suggest a conferenced called with a Technician and the Technician couldn’t assist and suggested that the car be rather towed to the dealership and a Tow Bakkie came to tow the car. The Road Assist tried calling Nico who is apparently the Dealer Principal and he did not pick up his phone in spite of the attempts made.I bought this car in February month but a month later I am inconvenienced.The least I could be offered was a lift home and nothing more or better could be done. I remained stranded for the weekend , couldn’t get anywhere , couldn’t attend church and run my errands on Sunday and it gets better that I had to hop in and out taxis on Monday morning trying to get to my workplace and had to beg for a lift to be able to perform my out of office duties for the day.Is it VW’s standard that a fairly new vehicle would give hassles within a month?It gets better on Monday the 27th March I will never forget the attitude I received from Nico who is apparently the dealership’s manager, in spite of the fact he ignored his phone on Saturday he still had the guts to give a stinking disrespect manner plus unprofessional attitude. Not showing any empathy for the inconvenience and stressful experience I was exposed to. Instead he told that their cars stay wherever for whatever period of time before the come to their dealerships and they do not have control over any defects that might come up and that even brand new cars still give clients challenges, so I am not the only one. I am not sure whether it’s because of the colour of my skin that he didn’t feel it necessary to put himself in my shoes and do damage control because I doubt that we would accept or understand the predicament I was in if it had happened to his wife or even any of his family members for that matter. For Nico to tell me that they couldn’t have been able to offer me a courtesy car anyway because they only have four courtesy cars that are permanently booked and they can’t just take any car on the floor nor even their cars because I would have to first sign an agreement committing to a R40k basic excess.I bought a car that I thought was reliable and suitable for my need, little did I know that I am actually creating an unnecessary unhappiness stressful moments for myself, being inconvenienced for two and a half days.

I bought a vehicle and the salesman, Lutziano Panawitz went out of his way in filling my needs. It has been more than a year now that i was looking for this spesific vehicle. Lutziano made that dream come true,as he promised he will.I want to thank him for the proffesional way he helped me and made me feel atease the whole time, kept me up to date with all things happening and all arrangements. He even delivered the car to me, 1050km away from Parow.I will highly recomend Lutziano and team as they give 110% towards customer satisfaction.But i did'nt stopped there... after recieving the car, he constantly checked in to see if everything is still fine and if we are happy. He is not just a salesman, he is a carring person also and i can see he put his customers first and value them highly.Lutz...thanks for making my dream come true

Friendly staff and great service! Called about an airbag related campaign, within 10min they located the part and confirmed my booking. The day I took my car in, there were multiple staff members waiting to check in vehicles as they arrive so I didn't have to wait. They ordered a Bolt lift to take me home and they washed my car - free of charge. Will definitely be back in the future!

I bought a second hand motor vehicle from Herman Marx at McCarthy VW Parow. Hermans service was exceptional with continuous feedback, and updates as to when the vehicle will be ready for collection. He went the extra mile and delivered the car to me with a basket of delicious treats. The treats was not the only surprise. To top it all he brought along a beautiful blue ribbon, which was placed on the bonnet of the car, which made me feel very special. In doing this, he made me realize that whether you buy a brand new, or second hand vehicle. The service you receive from Herman Marx is top notch and a five star does not describe the lengths he goes to for his clients. I give him a 10/10.

I would really discourage people from using this dealer. Bought a car from them, first month I had to take it in twice. No accountability on their parr. After that I had numerous other problems I'm now in the process of purchasing a new car. Very unhappy client.
