Lydea Horn Attorneys handled my divorce. It was without a doubt the worst experience I have had. I constantly had to follow up on the matter and contact her to find out what the next steps are in order to conclude the process.She contacted me a day before the court date to advice me that she forgot to hand in the parenting plan to the family court for sign off but promised me she will get it done before court...but if she cant she will buy me a coffee. Need less to say the matter could not go ahead because the paperwork was not all in order. She still billed me for that day and for the advocate. I understand that the advocates is independent but why must I pay for mistakes that was not my fault. This divorce costed me an arm and a leg even though it was an uncontested divorce. I consulted with another lawyer and he confirmed that this divorce should have costed a third of what it did.
