Absolutely stunned by the service, most unfriendly and rude staff ever experienced. Really love Fishaways but can't see me ever visit Stellenbosch Die Boord Fishaways branch ever!

After the order being more than an hour late, MANY phone calls to which no one picked up our order showed up INCOMPLETE! Absolutely disgusted by their service. I will no longer be supporting Die Boord Fishaways! All I got when I reached them was oh sorry we're closed can we refund you and sorry for the inconvenience. Absolutely DISGUSTING!

Absolutely horrendous! Fish was so small. Old salad with brown leaves and zero customer service. Never ever again.Update... I was contacted by their headoffice" at 8pm one evening. Said to them to please call back during working hrs the next day.They never called back.. I simply recieved a message saying "We have been trying to reach you with no response. We have therefor closed the complaint enquiry"Done and dusted in their eyes"

Convenient to get fish & chips when in a hurry.Ask for the grilled option; this takes a bit longer to prepare but is much better than fried IMHO.

After having had two bad experiences with Fishaways in the Boord, Stellenbosch last year, for which they refunded me after a lot of complaining (who wants to complain if you only want to go and pick up a simple meal and have it at your house?), I decided to give them a go again tonight.The estimated time for the food to be prepared was 18:26. I arrived there at 18:40 and my food was still not ready (it was a simple order). I was treated rather rudely at the counter when I told the staff member without a name plaque that the app had said that that my food was ready.I waited until 19:00. By then I was fuming but quiet. The lady in question handed over the food without so much as an apology. I told her that she could, at least, have apologised.At home I discovered that my two cole slaws were not in the bag.NEVER again. And other consumer columns will hear about this.

Paid R46 for Squiggly pops and literally got 4 small pieces (the size of sprinkle pops). Calamari strips also R37.90 for a ridiculously small portion. Feel very ripped off.Staff were friendly but unfortunately was very disappointed.

Consistency is the key to any franchise's succes. Always get good quality fish here. Staff is very efficient.

Very, very disappointing. We ordered a small fish and chips, a large fish and chips and a large chips at 18:45 to be delivered. By 19:45 our order had not arrived and we phoned to check if it was on its way. The gentleman who answered the phone said he would check and get back to us. Needless to say he did not. Fifteen minutes later we phoned again. The lady we spoke to said our order had not been processed as they were very busy. This was a very weak excuse and we cancelled the order. This is not the first time that this has happened and I find it totally unacceptable. The fish is good but not worth the stress and disappointment.Fishaways responded to my review and said they would contact me directly for more feedback. It is now four weeks later and I have not heard from. Just goes to show that bad service is not only restricted to the people on the floor but with management as well.

Paid almost R90 for the hake + calamari strips with a salad and my food hardly weights 200g. Absolutely horrendous service from fisherways. Never again. Feels like I'm being scammed with this amount of food
