The perfect place to relax. Quaint but quality. Fantastic service and breathtaking views. Highly recommended for couples who want a romantic getaway. Incredible wildlife.

Excellent venue with lots to see for the traveller who wants to see the big five and who longs for peace and quiet. Wonderful experience. Great service with well trained and friendly staff. Leaving feeling like family.

We had amazing stay at Tshwene Lodge ❤️ 2 game drives per day, amazing views, friendly Staff and most delicious food! The most amazing thing was that there are not too many cars in the whole Reserve which gives you the feeling of being an exclusive observer of the wildlife. Having sundowners just next to the feeding zebras was more than amazing.

Nice small lodge perched on a mountain ridge inside the Welgevonden Game Reserve. The views are nice.Due to its location expect a lot of steps to access the rooms. Not ideal for anyone challenged in walking.The rooms are nice and comfortable. Excellent bedding. Not too big, but offering everything you need.At the time of writing the lodge suffers from South Africa's world record specialty: power outages!!! But they are probably going solar soon to cut the dependency.Food was good.This lodges greatest asset it the friendly and attent staff.This is not a luxurious place but all facilities are available.

We had the most incredible experience here. April, our guide, was so knowledgable, experienced and friendly- we got to see the big 5 and many more in just 2 days! And the lodge was so comfortable and relaxing, the food was perfect, I really cannot find fault in this place. Thank you for such an incredible experience. We will be back again for sure!

Elias, Clint, Dorcas, Linah, Ezekiel, Sam and Laptop are all so lovely at Tshwene Lodge:)The game drives were great, food delicious and service accommodating and warm.Another reason to be proud of our beautiful country ❤️

The health & safety and building regulations for this lodge is questionable and shocking! My husband fell 8m onto his head when their balustrade gave way and he landed on the rocks below!!!The pictures of the balustrade you see here is outdated- they no longer have vertical slats but rather 2 long wooden poles with a thin cable running through them!!! No support at all!!!!!It is a miracle that my husband is alive but the seriousness of his injuries was not taken seriously by the lodge.Their idea of aiding the situation was to only refund our R500 conservation fees even though we didn’t stay at the lodge the entire weekend due to him being in the ICU!From a safety perspective I would not recommend this lodge to anybody!!Poor poor poor safety regulations!!!

What an amazing place. We found our little corner of paradise. Secluded, private, great amenities, excellent service. The whole team there was brilliant. My special thanks for making us feel so special to Sinah, Elias, Linah, Ezekiel, Maria and Lawrence.
