Kwikfit Car Wash and Body Repair

Received really poor and expensive service. Firstly, was charged extra (R177) because they were adamant that my Sezuki Swift was a “mini SUV”. Nonsense. Secondly, was offered and charged extra to have parking ticket validated when I arrived, which the guy took and disposed of. Then later came to the front desk to collect the car and pay, to be told with attitude that they don’t validate tickets and that’s the end of the matter. Do not recommend.

This is the mini valet we got from kwikfit waterfront. I don't recommend anyone go there. R212.

Paid for my car to be washed, vacuum and polished. Doesn't even look like the car was washed not even to talk about being polished. Only a small part was vacuumed, car still dirty. Paid R250 and waited 2 hours. VERY dissapointed! Will never used them again.

Took my car in yesterday afternoon, paid for the most expensive service, wash, clean, polish and leather seats treatment. When I got home and saw the car in the light I was shocked at how poorly the car was cleaned. I paid nearly R500 for this service which I expect to have a shining car afterwards but this was not the case at all. Very disappointed.

Worst car wash ever, paid R850 to have decals removed and polished. Had to take it back a second time to actually polish the remove decal residue and still did a terrible job. They told me to bring it back a 3 rd time to correct. They wont see me again. Also staff keeps telling you to talk to Jody the owner. Pity the guy is never there or on lunch. Do not waist your money!!

Left car with then for a wah.. teribble job to say the least. Car was not cleaned well and worst of all they threw" away all my sealed drinks and snacks which was worth almost R200. I have pictures to prove what a poor wash it was. Informed staff about the missing items but they did don't help."

Took my car in for body repair work - it required some respraying from minor scratches. Upon collection my car wasn't ready, paint job was shocking and the colour completely off. The car also had additional damage that happened while the car was with them. They gladly took it back to amend. They took a week to 'fix' it, only to still sit with a car with poor paint work. There are drip marks on the bonnet and rear of vehicle, they didn't cover rubber parts and windows properly, so now have clear coating spray paint on these parts too. The petrol cap also now has a chunk of paint missing from it, down to the metal. The bonnet clearly didn't dry properly before someone attempted to buff it, which is now left with indentations on it. Incredibly upset as this is a vehicle not even a year old and the job was paid upfront. I have made the team aware of this and hoping for a resolution. I was incredibly patient and understanding after the first errors, but still sitting with a very poor job and incredibly unhappy. This was not a cheap job to pay for and I have had to pay for Ubers for an additional week due to these errors.

We are not satisfied with the service. Long wait and then not thoroughly cleaned. The seats in the interior and the floor not thoroughly vacuumed.

When it comes to car washing don't bother. For R167 my car is still dirty inside. The gear stick consol, the hand brake area and cup holders still have dirt in them. The back seat and carpets still have sand on them. It looks like a slap dash job. Lines of cars waiting so obviously a rushed job. I have experienced this before but thought it would be different under a new name and management. Never again.
