Placid Waters

Its our 4th stay there. The staff members are friendly and professional. The facilities and accomodation is clean and neatly maintained. The setting and view is fantastic. The resort caters for all with lots to do. And, security is good, so its safe. Nice and laidback. We will go again.

We were very well received by the security at the entrance and reception staff. The lady at the desk was very polite and professional in making sure we understood all we needed to know to get settled in.The cleaning staff always left our unit really clean, well done and thank you for your hard work ladies. We usually don't opt for cleaning services on account of things being stolen, but the staff here I feel are honest enough. Nothing of ours to my knowledge has been taken. Thank you.The swimming pool was in an exceptional condition. The water was crystal clear and well treated. We also had a jacuzzi session which is always a nice experience. Everything was in good working order and the water was also well treated.I honestly can't complain about having stayed here for the last 3-4 days. My only reservation perhaps was the wifi connectivity on the premises. Was not the best (in my opinion). Struggled to perform some basic tasks on my laptop.Other than that this is definitely a destination I would consider again on the Garden Route.Thank you for the good experience.

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed it. They provide electricity during peak hours which helps a lot and the service is always friendly and helpful.The facilities are nice and they were busy with renovations while we were there which is great. It’s worth noting the renovations didn’t impact or disrupt our stay at all.The cleaning service every day is great and the surroundings is beautiful. It’s walking distance to some very nice shops and a restaurant.We made use of the activities on offer such as bike riding, pedal boats, kayaking, put-put and the lovely jacuzzi. These activities are free for holiday club members but cost extra if you’re not one.

I would've given the resort more stars, however, I am very disappointed that our vehicle was damaged in the parking area and at reception we are told that there's no footage to show, when there's a camera right at reception facing the parking area. As a guest you are at ease when you know the resort has a manager who will resolve any issues but all the manager said is there's no footage, expecting us just to accept it and to enjoy our stay further. Very disappointing.

Really good resort, great facilities, great friendly service. Facilities include SUPing, canoeing, peddle-boats, bicycles, gym, sauna, jacuzzis, pool, putt-putt, games room, big jungle gym, laundry, wifi, etc. I was impressed that they've catered for load shedding with generators. Beautiful views from the units. Units on the small side but modern and well equipped. All around, one of our favorite resorts. Would be great if they had 3 bed units for bigger families.

Can't complain about anything. Had a nice time except for people invading the resort with their dogs and the people at the gate is sleeping.I have never payed to use a braai at any other resort in all my years of being member of THC .

Always one of my favourites. Lots to do and the upgrades are impressive. Stayed in lower cottages with the lagoon on our doorstep. Canoeing, swimming in the pool and relaxing in a warm jacuzzi set the tone to a lovely holiday. Gym facilities available now as well which I found a great addition. Rooms clean and neat and staff, as well as cleaning staff, were friendly and welcoming.

Extremely well kept resort with ample facilities to keep the whole family occupied. Will visit the resort again in future.

Love spending a holiday here. The place is being renovated. Any issues were attended to promptly.
