Never been to a place like this. Being able to see and enter biggest, and historical plane that I once saw on the sky in 1995 while in support of Bokkes is inspirational.

Amazing place for a short outing on a bright day. There are a lot of types on airplanes including a legendary 747. In which you can also go inside and see the airplane.Entry fees are only 50Rands.I would like to rate it 4/5. You can grab some food and drinks also on the way to the museum and after that maybe you can chill near the germiston lake.

Excitement is high before you enter the museum as you can see the massive tail fins of the B747’s from a distance. The clerk at reception was very kind and helpful. The parking is in a clean, open and safe area right in front of a B747-200. The aircraft on display are all well preserved and an utter joy to explore. The aircraft on static display all have informative placards outside of them. You will occasionally find society members who are former SAA staff and have tons of interesting stories to tell. Being a huge aviation fan, I’ve been here twice and still haven’t seen everything. You can even book in advance to explore the special aircraft that aren’t open for public viewing. I highly recommend this museum. Kids will love it. You should definitely speak to the society members who can sometimes be found in the jets. You won’t find the stories they have anywhere else.

An absolutely delightful experience especially the 747 tour.As an ex flight attendant I enjoyed every minute of the tour and it was an amazing trip down memory lane for me. Hy husband and kids had a wonderful time and learned many facts about the aircraft that they had no idea aboutHighly recommend a visit here

Visited the place this last weekend had very high expectations due to the beautiful reviews already listed however it was very underwhelming for me unfortunately. Only one lady as a guide available and they just say go to the gate so no organized tours my family and other families actually were just touring the place by ourselves no guide, no one to explain or show us around. More organised tours taking groups at a time to give that lady time to guide each family or group of families would be appreciated.

My son want to be a pilot so this was a first hand and very close to the airplane....Our guide with over 40 years of flying was very wonderful and explained almost everything.

To be honest after all the reviews I expected more , tour guides not the best informed more parrot fashion , most planes closed and only open if and when , worth seeing but don’t expect much more than very basic

Quick and interesting outing for kiddies but adults can also learn something at the display hall. We got a tour guide by luck and at least we got a lot of information on Lebombo. The kiosk wasn’t open on the weekend we went but there is a shopping centre close by so you can get a bite after exploring.
