Oasis Country Lodge

The host were not very friendly and open. The rooms nice and huge but not very cosy. Our room need an update. The hosty barbis full of black mould and the cubicle of the shower and toilet on top were layered with a lot of old dust.. We did enjoyed a good nights rest

This is the best place to stay if you decide on staying over in Klawer, which is halfway between Cape Town and Namibia. The owner is friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The guest house offers breakfasts and dinners as well as drinks which are very affordable. All in all, a really nice place.

We were sceptical prior to our arrival - when we arrived at 14:30 there was no one at the lodge to receive us, but there was a number on the door to call. Hilde, the hostess, came to open up & from there our stay was great. She was extremely friendly. Our room was spacious & had all the self catering amenities one need. My son enjoyed the dstv & the animals on the premises (even tame Springbok). We did not use the pool or braai area but it was clean & well kept. We ate dinner at Spur in Vredendal. Upon returning we had a great night's rest - enough warm bedding. For a 3 star accommodation it was above our expectations. We went with a Daddys Deal & for the price we paid it was high above our expectations.

Absolutely stunning.We had such a nice stay.Rooms very big and neat.Friendly staff .Food is excellent and well priced.10 out of 10 for them.

We headed out to Klawer for the weekend to see the flowers in the area and this was a great place to stay. It also serves as a really good mid-way stop between Cape Town and Namibia for those on the long journey.It has secure parking and the hosts are very forthcoming. They went out of their way to put an additional bed in our room so that we could all sleep comfortably at no extra cost - top notch!The building is an old primary school, so the bedrooms are enormous - basically old classrooms that have been converted. The rooms were equipped with a microwave, kettle, oven etc as well if you want to do a bit of self-catering, but their breakfast (additional cost) was very good - generous portions (bacon, eggs, hash browns etc).There were also 2 Springboks roaming the grounds - very nice to walk up close to these majestic animals.

Great place to stay. Rooms are fantastic and a beautiful swimming pool and poolside seating. Free wifi but only Netflix.

Always a great place to stay over. John is excellent and he cooks a really good breakfast. Nice & quiet, rooms and furnishings all just great. They will see me again in mid February 2018 on my next Wesley's road trip
