This small fast food restaurant in valley centre in Fishhoek had got to make the best Breakfast roll in the city, north or south. If you're in the area, get the egg and bacon bun with the rosti. Super nice and the price is just right. Bon App

Stunning Full House Gatsby ordered last night. It was a beauty perfectly made and enjoyed by my family. Wifey still packed lunch as it was just too hectic to finish in one go... After my 7yr old son scraped all his courage together to walk up to the counter at Flame Grill to ask if he can please get a straw, he was told no because he did not buy his cold drink there. To my son's credit he smiled politely and said ok, because I would have lost it if that was me.

Inconsistent food. I previously ordered the hake and chips last year and it was very good. So ordered the same a few days ago, but sadly the batter was soggy and the fish was watery with no flavour. On the plus side the slap chips were great.Edit: so I went back, and the last 2 times I’ve been very happy with the fish and chips. The batter was crispy and the fish wasn’t watery, so my bad experience was probably just a one off.

My husband ordered the steak Gatsby and asked for medium rare but got raw steak. The loaded fries were average. Unfortunately a rather disappointing experience.

Update: Jacques handled our complaint in a very professional manner and we tried the burgers and chips again tonight (thanks to him offering to replace the order). This is definitely the standard we love! Juicy, tasty burgers and Devine chips (like the 1st time) :) we will definitely continue to support this establishment. Keep it up and all the best!The 1st time we ordered burgers about 2 weeks ago, they were perfect! Juicy and very tasty! Ordered the jislaaik and the Howzit burger today and was very disappointed. The howzit burger tasted like the patty and I think steak were steamed with no flavor and dry. Mushroom sauce glutinous.. my wife ate a quarter of her burger and nothing more. My jislaaik burger, dry and grainy patty. In my opinion not impressed to have wasted R245.

I absolutely adore this place. The food is ALWAYS incredible. The staff... what in the **superb customer service** is going on there!!! We've ordered from them over the last 2 years and have never ever had any part of our experience be negative. I cannot recommend them enough.
