A fantastic place to turn your life around. The 3 week program is intense with full days or therapy. The staff complement is well put together and every patent will see a psychologist every day and a counsellor once a week. If you are serious about recovery, this is the place to be.

Changes helped me massively it got to the point where we had nowhere to turn and in desperation my partner reached out to Changes and i was admitted into the treatment centre. Right from the start they worked the 12 step programme with me and their intervention literally saved my life. I had intensive therapy with a psychologist an occupational therapist and an addictions councillor. The team at Changes are very passionate and committed from the nurses to the councillors and the maintenance staff. Id like to mention a few of those who played an integral part in my recovery - Christy Ann, Melissa, Lolly, Ots, Ruth, Elizabeth, MamV, Brian and Tristan. Im very grateful for how Changes helped me through a very difficult time of my life and brought me back from the brink when I had nowhere else to turn.

The doctor perscribed me extremly high doses of medication i did not want to take. My counselor would talk about our personal sessions to other staff and people in the programme. Counselors made fun of patients to and behind their backs. It did not feel like a safe environment to recover and heal. They were not helpful to my dietry requirements and also threatened to tie me down when i refused to draw blood as i did not know what it was for because they kept administrating medication to me i did not consent to. Find a place that really cares about you and not just your money.

Ya boi is 10 months clean and going strong! It's a nice place. Rehab is intense. It's not supposed to be lavish and lush. It's definitely a safe place and my counselors taught me alot. As a facility it's clean, the beds are fairly comfortable and everyone is there to help you.

Changes advertises themselves as an upmarket rehab facility and charges accordingly, I stayed there for 7 months and I can tell you now this couldn't be further from the truth. first I was in primary and while it looks lavish at first glance the premises is way beyond capacity and extremely packed. I had around seven people in my room all sharing one toilet and shower, It was far from comfortable and all we did was have groups one after the other where the counsellors encouraged us to confront one another, they even went so far as to put people in hot seats and have counsellors humiliate them in front of everyone. They convinced my mother to send me to their secondary facility known as the farm". Everyday we were crammed like sardines in a small filthy garage where the counsellors encouraged us to confront one another and basically put us down

Fantastic facility! When I arrived there the staff of were very friendly and welcoming. Got the right treatment that I've been looking for for so long. Highly recommend Changes Rehab for anyone struggling with addiction.
