De Rust Retirement Village
My husband's grandmother moved into a rental room beginning December 2022 and is settling in so well. The friendly staff and caring residents make up a beautiful community spirit, eager to help each other out. The gardens are beautifully maintained with little pathways for short walks around the property. The catering provides well-balanced meals for breakfast and lunch. Lunch is a three course meal with a soup as a starter that most residents take away to enjoy later as their dinner.De Rust Retirement Village also has frail care, and although I haven't been inside yet, the certified nurses on hand have been brilliant after my husband's grandmother had a severe heart attack 2 weeks ago. Nursing and other care services are separate additional costs, but we have peace of mind knowing that should Ouma need specific care, it is near and readily available. There are also loads of activities and events happening regularly, which I find is a very sweet way to involve the residents and encourage them out of their rooms.Despite being a non-profit, I feel that this retirement village is run impressively well. There is 24/7 security with a security guard at the main gate to check in and out visitors, electric fencing, and automated front gates. My husband and I truly are grateful for De Rust Retirement Village. Thank you! Keep up the wonderful work!
