Great experience with Sydney Camera Repairs! My Contax T2 had a focusing issue where the lens would continuously jump when trying to focus. I was worried that no one would be able to fix this notorious issue for my beloved camera.I decided on Sydney Camera Repairs due to the high reviews and was not disappointed. The master technician, Aquila Lee, was able to diagnose and fix the issue by the requested date and for a very reasonable price. My camera is now working properly like new and I am thoroughly pleased with the services!Would highly recommend for all your camera servicing needs!

As someone who's got a wide range of film cameras, I can confidently say this is the best camera repair shop in all Sydney. If you are looking for a professional, efficient, specialized place, don't hesitate to come here (I lost 2 months sending my camera to a different place where they didn't even take a look at it). They're extremely kind and treat the customers respectfully. I brought my Mamiya RZ67 which had a shutter lag issue. This seemed to be a difficult thing to solve but they were able to fix it very quickly. Thanks a lot for the service, I'll comeback anytime I need my film camera collection to be serviced.

My first experience with Sydney Camera Repairs is unforgetable!!! I sent my Canon 50mm 0.95 Dream Lens" to this shop and it took exactly 12 months for "cleaning". OMG.ok. To be honest

I can't thank Sydney Camera repairs enough! I went in with a Cannon 24-70 which I had bought secondhand not knowing how many problems it had. They not only fixed my lens but gave me so much advice on buying secondhand in the future, what to look out for and the mechanisms in zoom lens. I was so worried I had wasted all my money on an expensive lens only to have to buy a new one and know it's as good as new! They were also really quick in turning around the repair. So happy. I will be taking all my gear to them from now on!

Having read all these 5 star reviews, I am very sad to say that my experience with this store wasn’t a very positive one.I understand some days you may not be feeling your best and thus, perhaps your customer service that day won’t be the best either. However, not even greeting the customer when the enter the store and just standing there isn’t the best first impression. I felt like an intruder and unwelcome.I presented my two film cameras to the lady - the first one she looked at it for half a minute and decided it’s not fixable. The second one had a power issue (something I already know since the camera won’t turn on) and she also deemed it unfixable after taking out the batteries and popping it back in, trying to turn on the camera. She goes “won’t turn on power issue, cannot fix”. She doesn’t really provide an explanation.I really wanted to have a great experience here but I didn’t. I am not upset that my cameras can’t be repaired.I understand that sometimes with old cameras it cannot be fixed but there’s many ways to interact with the customer and this wasn’t it.Severely disappointed after driving an hour to this store.

Did an amazing job repairing and calibrating my Pentax 67. I honestly thought my camera was dead… The shutter was out of sync with the curtain and the prism finder needed replacing. The guy who was repairing my camera found me a new Prism finder that worked on eBay for me, which I did not expect. They showed me how they calibrate the curtain and shutter, as well as how they calibrated my light meter on my new finder. They also calibrated my lenses infinite focus free of charge. Very trustworthy, generous and honest people. Will gladly take any cameras I need repairing to these guys.

Reliable, fair price, and quality repairs! My camera was dropped from a tripod so it needed a full repair, almost making a brand new camera. Aquila did an amazing job at repairing and the camera works perfectly. Highly recommend as he is very skilled and knowledgeable. Will be returning to get clean ups and other services that they provide!
