The Amy foundation is an inspiring place to visit because of all of the work they do for the community. They offer classes for several services, such as beauty and spa services, cooking and customer service, and services for children such as day care. Amy’s story in particular is very striking. Definitely a good place to visit and work with.

Friendly staff. Not much parking available. They run classes and workshops for the unemployed youth. Some classes occur on site and others are off-site. They have volunteers from different countries helping in areas like Khayelitsha and gugulethu. Some crafts are also sold on site. The upper level is used as accommodation for students or newly qualified professionals, quite affordable.

What an amazing experience I had at the Amy Foundation! This organization is truly heartwarming and very focused on the individual. I am really impressed with the work they do for the community in the area of youth development and after-school care. It was so nice to feel so welcome and the staff was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend the Amy Foundation.

The Amy Foundation is a NGO that does wonderful work amongst previously disadvantaged children and youth. They have programmes for kids after school in the townships and through Corporate partners prepare the adults for the job market and entrepreneurship.

Such motivation, Life lessons, for free. They give you something to look forward to, owning up to your fears ,mistakes and taking control. I for one has only 2days at Amy but I feel encouraged already. Thank you Amy Foundation for changing our lives.

I popped up unannounced and got a grand tour of this amazing organisation. The step up is so colorful and bright like the minds of our youth. The staff is warm and friendly. I would highly recommend any young person to get involved. As a person from the Cape Flats it is so heartwarming to know there is a place our youth can find hope, discover their skills and occupy their time productively.
