Diff Trans NSW

Took our gearbox here to be reconditioned. After paying $3300 and going back countless times with it still a problem, the owner Glen couldnt really care less. He even told us to take him to the tribunal. I think our vehicle was there more times than it was at home. Beware.

BEWARE!! Avoid!!!!!!Carried out work (new tyres) without permission and locked my car away from Christmas to January 29 when I refused to pay for tyres which were not required or approved. Wouldn’t allow me to pay for the diff which was the only approved work. Wouldn’t return calls, emails, police called him and he said he would call but he didn’t. Family missed out on holiday, medical appointments time off work.. only the beginning of the inconvience he caused. Glen couldn’t care less. Poor service, over priced, unfair and doesnt care at all! Reports made to fair trading.

Very happy with their work!Had a terrible knocking sound coming from my diff (2013 Nissan Patrol 3.0ltr) dropped in on late notice, drained oil, checked, replaced with proper oil was away in 30min.Dropped back in following week to replace LSD to a 4.2 LSD.Was all finished in a day.Great price, very professional, friendly staff. Definitely recommend.

I had my onetonner at difftrans to manualise my auto and make custom drive shaft to suit irs setup. They explained step by step what what was required and time frame and a fair price. Havnt had any issues with there work. I will be back for new diff gears to suit stall which was advised.

Was almost run off the road at 8 pm tonight by one of their utes! Whilst i was doing the speed limit and had my 2 CHILDREN in the car!!! The imbecile driving was so close behind me I couldn't even see his headlights before he started swerving erraticallytrying to intimidate me. Can't imagine what his customer service is like

I no longer trust these guys as being difficult experts, took my 2013 pajero which had a noise coming from back of car.asked him if he thought it was the difference he went for a test drive and said yes it was and it would cost $1400.00 to repair.Got another oppion turns out wheel bearing apparently easy to diagnosed when driving cost to repair under 1/2 quoted from this guy feeling ripped off and no longer trust this business.Get a second oppion it will save you money.

Never Going Back,,was not given an up front rough price" to simply put a borg warner diff crownwheel and pinion "that i supplied" in a diff i took there myself but just got hit with a $1000 bill..it only needed 3 bearings and i even got charged for degreaser and rags

These guys really helped me out getting my car converted to a v8,very knowledgable people.My diff was changed to a trutrak with diff gears also changed,in my opinion they do excellent,quality work.Very supportive and professional team.Highly recommend them to anyone.

Paid $700 for a 'reconditioned' Large Salisbury LSD off Ebay Took it to a diff place who informed me it was 'unserviceable'. I still have the worn spider gears and loose pinion shaft at home.When I called the place up they told me they'd call me back - and never did. When I finally got around to speaking to the owner - Glen - he didn't want to know, he obviously thought I was trying to get money out of them when all I wanted to do was let him know. He acted like a suspicious car dealer. Luckily the (much more helpful) diff place in Perth was able to build one from mine and theirs.Overpriced for what I got, only thing worse was their unprofessional attitude. AVOID.
