Richards Bay Small Craft Harbour

Recently many shops and restaurants have closed their doors. There are little to no Yatchs anchored here. However the views are beautiful.

It's hot and humid. I prefer Cape Town weather. The people are friendly and the drivers are patient.

The restaurants around the harbour are good. A bit on the higher price side. The board cruise around the harbour is a must. It only take an hour.

A delightful working harbour with yachts and rugs going about their business, with a convivial publican establishment serving ice cold beer.

Harbor boat tour was great !!! A must do !!!!Overall vibe of the place not good .....too many closed stores and feel unsafeFood not good

The smallcraft harbour houses a few lovely restaurants situated strategically alongside the water. One can find Indian, Thai, African and Portuguese cuisine, among other restaurants that are readily available. The ice-cream shop is a pleasant relief during the humid summers.The ambience is versatile and ranges from romantic to casual and even formal for business dinners.Guests at the restaurant and the neighbouring Bon Hotel, have an amazing view of anchored yachts, visiting cargo ships, the local harbour dredger and tugboats.The local bikers' club members are often seen in large groups enjoying the popular mutton bunny chow and beer from K And K Curries and this adds to the vibe in the area.A visit to Richards Bay is incomplete without a quick trip to the smallcraft harbout quayside.

Very quiet. Lots of empty shops. Definitely needs to reinvent itself.

Not as great as it used to be. Lots of broken bottles in the road from party goers in the evening
