Went here on the 30th of April for my brother's birthday. Booking was for 12:30 & expectations were high. Arrived and had to wait 10-15mins for our table. Several items were out of stock & the service was extremely poor. Some of our food was overcooked (burger patties & sirloin steaks). Restaurant was clearly very understaffed. 45 minutes after ordering our food (at 14:19) we were still waiting. Very disappointed and will probably not come back.

Such a low key special evening for our family. We sat outside at sunset and then moved inside to a table at the bar. We enjoyed gin cocktails, locally brewed beer tasters and some delicious food. The kids menu is a bit limited but the large ice cream and chocolate brownie made up for it. The setting is exquisite and our waiter served us well. I would encourage families to go earlier as it started to get a little festive after 7:30pm. We’ll definitely be back.

Had an overall pleasant experience the restaurant. My Medium rare steak could have been better, I found it to be chewy.Loved the lamas on show and the atmosphere was amazing.I love the aesthetic of the place as well as the underground cellar showcasing some fine wines.I wished there were more quality Stellenbosch red wines to choose from to pair with the steak.

Breathtaking views, rustic charm with a romantic chilled vibe. Unique gems in the garden from quirky knomes to denim potplant stands. A definite must visit, the cattle and countryside will make you not want to leave.

Fantastic spot for lunch out on the Midlands Meander. The food is terrific and the views of the pastures of Wagyu and alpacas really add to the experience. We always come here when I’m back to visit family in South Africa. Blueberry cafe is right next door and is just as lovely but I find service to be slightly better (staff more attentive) at F&C.

Had a lovely lunch to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. We started off with a pomegranate infused gin which was really nice. The ambience is really nice with the long horn cattle and alpacas grazing close by. The vast collection of miniature cars are great to look at and must be one of the biggest collections I've seen. We ordered a bottle of Ken Forrester Pinotage to compliment our delicious meal. My wife had the Peri Peri Chicken and I had the smoked Brisket which came with a Jack Daniels sauce. Absolutely delicious. Desserts looked amazing but we were to full to indulge. Certainly recommend Fork and Cleaver.

What a beautiful restaurant with the friendliest staff and good food. We made a lunch booking and when we got to the restaurant we were greeted by the friendly staff and seated. We ordered the wings, the cut of the day and a single bypass burger, the meat was very fresh and if you don’t like the taste of fresh meat you might want to skip the steaks. We really enjoyed the vibe of the place as well, the decor with all the medical stuff and of course the toilets with the view.

Steaks are quite delicious, basted with their own bbq sauce. The smoked brisket I tasted also really good. The burger and wings were okay too. Great venue in the midlands, really nice lunch experience. Been there more than once and on all occasions the food was great. The toilet and washrooms are a must see while you there. The kitchen though is really slow, with service also lacking, and this is my only gripe about this place.

Definitely a must visit. We had the steak and burger, both were delicious. We felt the menu was limited because there wasn't many options that sparked our interest, however, that could just be our preference. The scenery is stunning. We will definitely visit again to try the Blueberry Café.
