Backpackers have a bad reputation of being dodgy but to our surprise and satisfaction, we found this place very pleasant to be in. It may not be fancy BUT it is clean, comfortable and the host is friendly. The host helped us on short notice and it was affordable. We enjoyed our stay and we will sure go back there. Thank you so much

Awesome affordable accommodation, friendly and helpful staff. Close to town with the most amazing scenery around. Sandra went the extra mile to make sure we had everything needed for a lovely relaxing weekend. Bonus points for the ducks, dog & cats who made for great late night entertainment.

What a beautiful place to stay in! Situated on the mountainside, Sabie Gypsy Backpackers features a beautiful view, with very well kept chalets and rooms, a wonderful big garden with an outside semi heated swimming pool and the most friendly service. This all aside from popular attractions that are all close by :)

The owners of the place are very kind and welcoming, we enjoyed our stay. It was a great first time experience for us. The view from our cabin was beautiful.

It whas a wonderful experience the owner is a very nice and down to earth manThey could make a view improvement to make the place look a bit more inviting and I think they should expand a bit because everyone one loves the place but it can be a bit cramp at times but other then that it's a lovely place to sleep if you're looking to explore Sabie and the surrounding attractions

Given the price, I can honestly say the place is worth every penny that you pop and the kind owner also upgraded my package to an even better package for free as it was not a busy weekend. Highly recommend place to rest overnight anytime.

The host is on top of his game. Helped us on very short notice at an affordable price. The place is relaxing with free wi-fi. Beautiful scenery, walking distance to town. We will definitely recommend and visit again.
