We thought we'd give this restaurant a try as we were at the shops in Marloth Park. Big mistake. I ordered a burger that was so drenched in sauce the bun actually melted away. The bacon was so thick and strong tasting it took over everything. Chips were worse than any slap chips I've ever had. And before the owners respond with their normal snarky comments to a negative review. I am South African and have travelled and worked all over this beautiful country and apart from one pub in Welkom this was positively the worst meal I've eaten in a long time. There are better places to eat - Amazing Kruger View restaurant in Marloth Park for one, and it is worth the 20 odd km drive to eat at Tambarina in Komatipoort. And to Danie and Morne, don't bother replying to this. If you cannot accept constructive criticism you are in the wrong game.

The food was very enjoyable and speedy to arrive but the service from Winnie the waitress left a lot to be desired. She got our drinks order wrong twice to start with (after repeating it to her twice) and then delivered them in one broken glass and one dirty glass. It seemed like everything for her was a chore and she was much happier to sit and watch videos with her colleague instead of serving her guests. Some people are better suited to behind the scenes work.

Large dining open non smoking area, with picnic style tables and benches. Not easy to sit down or get up as you need to climb over the bench, best to wear pants.The comfortable seats and indoor dining is a smoking area and pub/bar.Filter coffee turned out to be instant Nescafe coffee, should have known as it's not on the menu.Waited about 50 minutes for three omelettes no chips.When we threatened to leave, the food arrived after the manager intervened.Large portions but average flavor, the bacon on the side were dried out.The manager offered a discount and did not charge us for the coffees as it was returned.Decide for yourself.

The food should be rated separately from the non existing service. Winnie the waiter seemed inconvenienced by our presence and annoyed to serve us. We were presented drinks from dirty and broken glasses after getting our drinks order wrong, twice. A glass of wine and a gin/tonic. Despite being friendly to Winnie and trying to engage in some polite conversation, service was quite simply horrible. What a pitty.The pizza and burger we had was great. We'll done to the kitchen staff.

An excellent place to eat in Marloth Park. Every dish that I have had there has been excellent. Top quality, fresh ingredients served in an awesome setting. A breath of fresh air. The staff are all super friendly, professional and go out of their way to make your dining experience great.
