Realty Emporium certainly the worst rental agency. Whoever does their book-keeping seriously stop cheating the tenants with ridiculous Bills Water bills that are 2 to 3 months delayed and then you steal money from the tenant's deposit for your incompetence. Sharan Ramparsad, please try and work on your communication skills don't use words you cannot define. As a Principal of the Rental Agency have some respect when addressing the next tenant as running any business the customer/ tenant should not be provoked or spoken to in a condescending manner. Please read a tenant guide book and NEVER threaten a tenant!! Majority of my deposit was held back for minor wear and tear of the property. I asked numerously for the Owner's details to liaise directly as the flat was left in a good condition when i moved out. I don't understand why as the tenant it is my duty to pay for the entire flat to be re-painted for 1 small nail on the wall and black marks on the ceiling in the shower which doesn't have an extractor fan and no proper ventilation. Invoices of quotes are not proof of payment. Taking away more than 70% of my deposit for which you have asked friends, which are the contractors, you used to get the quotes from is called Theft! I am not the only tenant that has complained thus far, Realty Emporium consider the bad reputation of your Rental agency and work on your service. Owners of Property in Lilyfield or any other area who does business with this rental agency, I urge you to reconsider which Agency does your admin.

Sharan, Tavonga and team have managed my properties over the last 15 years. Realty Emporium source quality and respectable tenants. I have had an almost 0-% vacancy rate over this period. My rental properties have been maintained and always good condition. Realty Emporium have also sold a number of properties and gets the minimum asking price.

Overall experience in Lilyfield was good! Very affordable place to stay! The complex is neat and well maintained. My letting Agent (Tavonga) was always available and helpful when I needed her. Only negative comment would be, in the 4 years that I stayed there city power cut the electricity 3 times due to non payment and that was not pleasant experience.

We stayed in one of the properties managed by Realty Emporium in Midrand for over 3 years. Tavonga and her team were always quick to attend to our emails. Always professional and helpful.

As a tenant, I have had a terrible experience with this estate agent at the end of my lease. They gave me over inflated quotes for minor things that would ordinarily be covered by normal wear and tear and all the excuses under the sun as to why they could give me back a substantial amount of my deposit back. I also found out that the previous tenant had a similar complaint at the end of their lease term. For tenants- I would not recommend them.

Prejudicial tenant contracts - They take forever to attend to maintenance issues. I have living in a property that has a broken window that has been this way since before I moved in, it’s still not fixed to date.(7 months ago).Please read your contract before signing, be ware of their additional admin fees.On top of your initial deposit, you will be required to pay a standard cleaning fee ranging from R400 - R800 depending on the size of the property, should you decide to vacate the property.They will charge you R900 at every time you renew the lease/ or the rent increases, whether or not you decide to vacate the property.Prejudicial tenant contracts & unresponsive tenant customer service

I have worked with them for some years now, and along the period they have earned my trust because of how they conducted their business since the first day i called them in July 2017 looking for a rental apartment. They have been very professional and their response rate to address issues is just excellent. I have grown to own my own home and in a short period i had to rent out my house.
