Could not believe to find a Spar and was so happy and we had lekke meat pies and goodies for the rest of the road... I just love traveling in South Africa specially the Karoo!

I was met by a image of a young (i presume the manager) man using the most vulgar language chasing away kids begging for money or food. He also scolded his workers sitting outside on their break for not chasing them away.Now I do understand the problems these so called problem kids can hold for your business... but I have to ask the question.... what is the roll YOU play i your community of Uniondale by uplifting these youngsters (not just throwing money at any organization)?""

The language in the Deli between the custumors and the public was hetic The words they said is terrible and disgusting to the people how wants to do their shopping in Spar at Uniondale You cant walk between the shelfs because of all the things they do not unpack I love Spar but i wonder if i will ever do my business there

I love, love Uniondale. Happy memories. It is literally like heaven having spent half the night and traveling g from Johannesburg through to George . The heat coming through the Hot dry Karoo and stopping at Uniondale, getting out of your car into the refreshing cool air of Unkndale was a delight.The most friendly, helpful people live there. Have been there before with a mechanical problem and at the dead of night was given 5 star treatment at one of the hotels. Very special. Go there.

Your butcher is excellent! The meat we buy here is always top quality. To be recommended is lamb, the mutton is just as tender and tasty, pork belly. We now only buy our meat here.
