Builders Express Kenilworth

Shocking service for 2 weeks in row!! Management needs to think carefully about why their staff are unmotivated!! Won't be back. Willing to forfeit my pensioners discount and support nearby Mica, where service is superb!!

Friendly and helpful staff. They don't always have enough stock of everything but it's a small shop so that makes up for it. Great shop if I just need something quick. They have a bit of everything.

Small format store of the Builders chain. It doesn't have the variety that you will find in a Builders Warehouse, but it will service most of your needs

A well equipped builders store with almost everything you could need. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They also knew exactly where what I was looking for was in the store. The store is well signed and easy to navigate. There is plenty of free parking close by and the place is wheelchair friendly.

Stocks more items than expected given the “express” name. Very impressed. Clean building, great product variety.

Love this tiny spot. Excellent assortment of plants, even if small. Pity about the equally tiny amount of parking, not enough for a Saturday morning.

As I entered Builders Kenilworth, to look for something specific I passed by Abdul Aziz. My first impressions were that he was part of the security detail. I noted he was serious about what he does. I couldn't find what I was looking for. I asked one of the staff for assistance. Abdul Aziz noticed that I was not being appropriately helped and politely intervened without embarrassing the other staff member. I showed him a picture of what I was looking for. He then took both the staff member and myself to the computer and proceeded to check whether they had the item in stock. Seamlessly he proceeded to find the item while simultaneously teaching the other staff member how he should have assisted me. I chatted to him about how he helped his collegue and learnt that he always tries to help collegues perform better for their sake. It was apparent to me that he wasn't doing it for any accolades. He was just simply a nice guy. He found the item, took me to the correct isle and when he noticed I wasn't sure if the item would work he assisted me further. With his help I bought something else which was more suitable to my needs. What also stood out was not only his natural ability to be customer-centric or his passion to help other staff members to grow, but how he balanced my need to see the product while maintaining the integrity of the product so that it can remain viable for sale. Abdul Aziz is an unassuming guy who should be given opportunities to leverage his natural talents. What more can a company ask for especially in an environment where excellence is scarce. Thank you Abdul Aziz, I normally enter Builders expecting poor assistance. You are a refreshing difference to any customer who appreciates service excellence.

Amazingly friendly helpful staff. Especially at the nursery where a male assistant went out of his way to help me find exactly what I was kooking for. Carrying ALL of my selections and all the way to the car. What an amazing experience! Thank you Sir, whoever you are.The lady at payment counter was just as kind and friendly!

Very friendly and helpful staff. I’ve been there in store a couple of times and each time I go there, I’ve been willingly helped and they go above and beyond. A special shout out to Aisha for keeping me updated on my order. It was unfortunately out of stock countrywide but thank you for the efforts and constant calls. Keep it up team.

Good luck getting any help, staff are in disguise and unhelpful if you manage to find one. I only buy here if I'm desperate, and its always a bad experience. Mica all the way.
