Don't waste your time calling or visiting the store. I've been there on several occasions with absolutely no assistance. They have an abundance of excuses. A simple application for a new contract takes over 3 weeks. Trying to call the store to inquire about the progress of the application you have to call them literally 9 times before anyone answers. The most unprofessional service I've ever received.

7 staff members on duty but yet all so uneager to assist And when they do finally assist you they do it with such lack of enthusiasm as if they are doing you a massive favor by even acknowledging that you are in the store. Service is the key to a successful business and honestly even if they had to give me a phone with a free contract I wouldn't accept it, just based on their service.

My experience with Mtn Eastrand Mall and its instore agents has been excruciating and anxiety inducing to say the least.Picture this. You apply for a device contract. Two weeks later your application gets approved, and you cheerfully go to the store collect your long awaited device. As you are about to be handed your device by the MTN agent, she takes back the box because the phone she mistakenly and incompetently put in her system is a completely different phone. A phone that MTN never advertised, neither did they have stock of.What does the agent do you wonder? Order and get stock of the phone? No! She cancels my order and reapplies to rectify her initial mistake giving little to no reassurance on the probability of success.Then follows another 2 weeks of waiting, poor communication, anxiety and false promises. Monday comes and the agent after avoiding my follow up emails, finally answers my call and tells me to collect my device this Friday the 08th of October 2021. After exercising patience and over looking her initial incompetence, I eagerly rush to the store after work to collect my order, after a month of waiting. I get to the store to collect my order a second time only to be told I cannot be given my device despite providing all the necessary documentation and being approved the first time.Essentially this agent successfully wasted my time and resources on numerous occasions just so she can display her incompetence to me in person. My approval for my first application is well documented with confirmation emails and screen shots. Words cannot describe how poor the customer service at MTN Eastrand Mall is. Truly disappointing as a first time experience at this store. I urge anyone that values their time to avoid this network, and more specifically the Eastrand mall MTN store.

We were assisted by Daniella with a contract upgrade. We found her to be friendly, efficient with a very good product knowledge. In and out within 30 minutes. What a great experience!

Either you are standing in a que, or you are standing around waiting for someone to serve you..... and you are totally ignored. If you are not there to give the staff a sale they are not interested. Also, there are never enough staff to actually serve you. Advert Magazines are never available. I cancelled my contract because of lack of service once too many times.

A year or so ago I rated this mtn very low because staff was unhelpful but I recently did an upgrade with a staff member by the name of Amanda and I have never received such good service from an MTN store before. Amanda is such an asset and so professional and sweet, I will be returning to this store for all my cellphone needs just because of her.

I was traumatized when thinking of going to that store again. Luckily i was assisted by the white gentlemen and i forgot his name but his wearing a trainee name badge ...he was very helpfull and assisted me with my claim and i have learned how to claim an insurrance with my device i will also teach others.my u treat all clients with the same attitude u will go places thats the spirit we need whenever we visit the store. Iam impressed .last time it was a nightmare the black ladies need to respect customers erespective of their race. Those stars are for that trainee

Visited store on 11 Sept. Our temperature was taken at the door and we sanitized.The staff, however did not wear masks at all and when asked about it said, you are wearing a mask

Worst service ever!No assistance at all when needed.When you call in for assistance the ladies that work at East rand mall store has an attitude and always tell you to call 135 for help because they can't help you.When you call 134 no one picks up the phone.When you need assistance with technical issues the guy that works there sits on his phone on Facebook not even looking at you when you speak to him and tells you to switch your phone on and off for all the issues.That's their answer for everything. Just switch your phone on and of and it will be okay.My account has been suspended for 3 week in May and now again this week, and I haven't missed an payment since I opened my account.If you ask for a statement they don't sent it but they tell you your account is in arreurs. If you ask them when they can't even tell you when.
