Not a great experience. Was charged for work that was never done. After complaining it was done, having to wait a day longer and the invoice amount was reduced. I was satisfied in the end, but it should have been done correctly from the start.

Brilliant workmanship and quality materials. You can trust them on a fantastic job.

Heinrich and his team did great work replacing the tubes on my semi-rigid. They went above and beyond, also finding someone to make a boat cover for me. They team up with Africa Blue auto marine for engine services. Very happy what they did for me, especially the nice touch with the logos.

Shockwave built me a new 3,5meter softbottom duck. After 6 months use I am extremely satisfied and happy with good quality and design form these guys. The re - tubing of my rubber duck was a smooth process where Heinrich kept me informed of any developments that took place. They have done an excellent job and I can honestly say that I am impressed by the quality of their workmanship. Well done to Shockwave Inflatables.

About a year later I can give my review:Bought an 4m potable inflatable and motor + safety gear brand new.CONS: The seat broke the first time it was sat on - the others also feel like breaking under full weight (~90kg). It only came with 2 instead of 3 seats. It didn't come with a pump as advertised. Took 2 days longer than promised. Also came with no rod or oar holders. Didn't come with certifications until I kept asking and eventually got an emailed one.Pros: Boat and material seems good quality (Apart from the seats). Staff was good in responding and timely. Offered to replace seat - I never went back, to much effort I just reinforced them myself.Boat is still holding good after 4 long weekends away and boating and fishing about.Overall, be 100% sure what you want and what you are getting actually. Don't trust website and email, talk face to face seemed to be best option to understand what actually comes with the boat.

Original estimate was for R150, then ended up paying R1500. A few days after collecting, rubberduck was flat again, took it back. Charged another R500. A few days after collection, once again rubberduck was flat. This is for a newish rubberduck that previously never had any issues and since been repaired has not been used. So in the end was charged R2000 and then told, they too busy and will only repair next year. No attempt to assist and after paying R2000, sitting with a broken rubberduck for the holidays. Quite an apt name as their service and attitude is shocking, after they were highly recommended.
