A great place to visit.It offers excellent accommodation to business travellers stopping in the area.The hosts are friendly and welcoming. The views are incredible.

Relaxing and a great breakaway

We Were in awe with this little gem outspan game lodge, was peaceful,serene, and all we hoped for. staff was friendly and rooms were cleanand neat, the lounge was so inviting and it just gave one the feeling ofbeing in another land in the bush with the birds singing and Baboonschatting from the opposite end from the gorge. perfect venue for familygatherings around the fire pit. We certainly recommend this place. Thankyou Andrew, Debbie, for allowing us to stay and Porcia for looking after us.We will be back. Cyril & Faith Basson

Outspan Safaris is part of another world, the main camp overlooks an impressive gorge where twitters can sit quietly and record a wide variety of birds whose calls echoed through the cliffs, we also saw raptors diving in for their pray. A troop of dassies regularly soaked up the sunning on nearby rocks.The reserve has a wide variety of wild life particularly antelope, they do cater for overseas hunters which meant most animals were particularly skittish. Our guide was knowledgeable therefore we thoroughly enjoyed a lengthy game drive in a special high view 4 x 4, this platform was perfect for photographers, although I did wish for a drone.The lodge is impressive see my photographed attached. Our accommodation was customed to our requirements, we enjoyed great meals our hosts agreed menus with us in advance. The vegans in our party were well fed, one is advised to bring your own special beverages although the management made every effort to satisfy that requirement.In summary the reserve doesn't have the big 5 but its a get away from it all experience.
