Had a carport put up years ago which was mostly used for storage. ALL WORK WAS CARRIED OUT BY IQBALS WELDING.Recently had it cleared out and noticed the entire back section was full of water and everything damaged, upon inspection the job was done terribly, the entire back section has no support at all, there's a gapping hole at the back that has never been properly sealed off. The side gate (Entrance 2) had been done wrong from the beginning and could never open from the day of completion, the job was 80% completed. Upon contacting Iqbals welding and only asking for a boy to come out with welding rods, we had mentioned that we would use our own steel, our own welding machine and just needed a boy with rods to complete what was never ever done correctly We were first promised a date that someone would come out, on that day a 'R450' call out fee was asked for which we had explained should not be applicable as this is not a repair of something that was once fixed and now broken but something that Iqbals had failed to complete correctly from the time the structure was put up.Thereafter Faizel (Iqbals son and the person who the communication was made through) sent a message saying 'Find someone else to do it' and blocked us.No honor, would not recommend.
