The introductory blacksmithing course was phenomenal. I've never had that much fun at any other learning experience. The atmosphere was great and the instructors were all very friendly and patient. Definitely coming back for more! Thanks so much for helping me start my blacksmithing journey.

07/04/2018 - Beginner Blacksmith Course.To Dennis and your assistants. There are no words to give the due credit to yourself and your team. The knowledge, experience, friendliness, sense of humor, patience and kindness showed to all participants of the course was to sum it up AMAZING !! . I had the most wonderful day and learnt more in this one day of doing than months of youtube videos and books.Keep up the good work and again many thanks for a wonderful day it was a blast.

I bought tickets to the introductory course for my husband and I, and it was a fantastic day! As a woman I was a bit nervous about attending a typically manly event, but I am so happy that I decided to go. I learned so much, felt very welcome, and the team made me feel capable of creating my own thing. We are already considering going again, and taking some friends with next time

Attended the rose forging course for valentines day.The course was opened by Dennis and Rain provided supervision at our anvil. The course was well presented, the blacksmiths well prepared and knowledgeable on different techniques and approaches to forge. A good lunch was supplied and it was an all round great experience.Would highly recommend

Seriously fun, fulfilling and interesting day out - big plus is coming home with something uniquely yours, created (forged) with your own hands! Dennis and his team are amazing teachers, always there to help but also allowing you to learn independently. The day is filled with designing a piece, learning techniques and skills, using the various tools and equipment, having a laugh and a lekker lunch. Recommend it to everyone as a unique experience, great way to vent those frustrations and to experience the magic of Blacksmithing.

We had a really wonderful day at Drakon Forge, as a beginner I didn't know what to expect but I thoroughly enjoyed it. We did the day course as a birthday present for my hubby but we will definitely be going back! Dennis is an Amazing teacher! there is so much more to be learnt from him, his apprentices are friendly and fun as well. We will definitely be going back to do the other courses! Definitely recommend them!!

Great experience for anyone interested in Blacksmithing.I went for my second course and was allowed to make my own smithing hammer, it is fully day session with so much to learn and very friendly people to talk too.In the end I have a very nice High carbon steel hammer and lots of good memories. Thank you to Dennis and Rain for the great experience, I hope to join you guys again for another session.Next time I’ll bring my own hammer to forge.

Amazing knowledge of smithing, provided nice fine details that makes lots of sense regarding forging. Can see the dedication for the art. Nice people to work with, they do really want you to learn.
