I was promised my spectacles within 2 weeks. The Plettenberg Bay Branch is really unprofessional. After 2 weeks I went to collect my spectacles and was told that they were in Thailand. This is clearly to save labour costs for obvious reasons, and increase profit margins. I have to call all the time as they do not get back to their clients. Now they are in Port Elizabeth? Another delay. I made it very clear that I have a problem straining my eyes as I mark students online for 8 hours a day. They were more interested in selling me sunglasses, tinting the lenses getting me spectacles for driving (which I already have) and so on. I have seen patients arriving without their I/Ds and Medical Aid cards as reception do not tell you. The customer relationship management (CRM) is non-existent. They do not support local businesses. Thailand? No doubt I will have to call again today, as one is simply left in the dark. I suggest that you revisit your mission statement. I have written to Head Office, and of course no response. I have been informed by my Medical Aid that they were paid a week ago. I am now going viral - I have over 20,000 connections on Linkedin alone. The manager is defensive and rude, and stated that they had to use Thailand as there was no other lab that could assist - too busy!Prof Rory Dunn.

I went for an eyetest in Kemptonpark Woodbridge Mall 2nd week in January 2020. test went fine. But no frames available a month later.Wont recomend specsavers to anyone. Maybe the head office can sort this?
