We had a coffee club morning there this morning and we ordered scones. Horrified to get the bill and see R 40 for and extra tiny portion of cheese. Total madness

A gem on a rainy cold day. Went last week. Sat on the comfy leather couches next to the fire. Felt like a king. Had the most delicious croque Madame. The owner/chef is personally involved in everything and the quality and service reflect that. Highly highly recommend this place.

Lovely breakfast, the setting is beautifully made up, def the type op place you would like to host a wedding at. The cake is to die for and the ladies very friendly. Well worth a visit, just have patience when they get busy, everything is freshly made.

I love OR Wilja goes the extra mile to make excellent food. The venue is unusual and reminiscent of the 1930s with glass chandeliers and period furniture. All my Airbnb guests have loved it and rate it highly. Don’t miss out on this venue!

Absolutely stunning venue. We had a fantastic breakfast, coffee and carrot cake. Staff is friendly and the owner is the chef as well which made the experience so much more special. It's a real gem. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic unexpected out of the way gem. Lovely place for breakfast, opens at 0800h for beverages, kitchen opens at 0830h. Beautiful setting overlooking a valley and pond. Stuffed full of random old oddities. Go early, gets busy.

This has been our third visit to Ouland. Our initial experience was delighful, which made us go back. Today's visit was disappointing to say the least. The quality of the scones was substandard as they were crumbly and dry with hardly any jam. The croissant with chocolate ganache was small and over-priced with substandard chocolate. The crossaints were served on an old saucer. The large cappuccino that I ordered arrived in a small cup and when I reminded our waitress of my initial order, I was told that it wasn't her fault as she placed the correct order but the barrister got it wrong. No offer to change it. Unfortunately this experience ruined it for us and it was an embarrassment as our guests had such high expectations, which were sadly not met.
