Springlands Farm Self Catering Cottages

Relaxed in nature, away from busy city life.

We stayed at King Fisher Cottage at Springlands. What an absolutely beautiful wooden cottage nestled in nature. The decor is stunning, the host / owner is a gem, the setting is picturesque, the cabin itself is perfectly set up for a comfortable self catering stay and if you are looking to relax, this is the answer!I am already planning our return stay and adding an extra day! The hiking trails / walks are magical along the flowing mountain streams and natural pools. Its a must!

Awesome, awesome experience. 2nd time around and still a charm. I find it difficult to find words to describe the feeling of peace and tranquility one experiences here. We stayed at the River Cottage and enjoyed it thoroughly. The owner is very accommodating and really came through for us when we requested new deck chairs. The complimentary orange juice is made on the farm and surpasses any found in the shop. I am rested and happy. Thank you River Cottage at Springlands Farm. You will surely see me again

The best place to relax and break away for the stresses of life. Getting back into touch with nature.

Great getaway from the city. No cellphone reception makes it possible to relax completely. We stayed in the river cottage. Had a nice swim spot and view of the stream. Hosts Heidi and her husband went horse riding with us, such down to earth people. Highly recommended.

If you want tranquillity this is the place to relax. Heidi is amazing! The hiking trails, horse rides, river pools are absolutely amazing!

Great hospitality would be understating the sincerity the owners bring to their guests experience of the farm. We have spent a lot of time away in self catering off the beaten track, but Springlands Farm cannot be beaten for its tranquility and natural beauty.The mountain unit was well stocked with cutlery and kitchen amenities. Great braai facility on the deck and absolutely no litter in sight.We spent the better part of four days swimming, riding bikes and enjoying the horses. Barry and Heidi, the owners made us feel so welcome and having the opportunity to do a great out ride on Gunney, the Western quarter horse was an experience I will never forget. We have already booked our return.If you love peace, tranquility and nature, with the comfort of a bed, cold beers and hot showers, this is a gem!
