Komkyk Accommodation

We camped here and the place is basic but very well kept. It's not a place where you camp to enjoy the peace and quiet (unfortunately it is very close to the N1 highway, so if you are a light sleeper, it's not great), but if consider it for what it is, a camping-motel, it does its job. To be let in, speak to the people at the OK minimart. Very cute duck and ducklings! :)

Will not recommend it if you stay above te restaurant, rooms are extremely cold, the people outside making noise at night, one can hear everything it's like there is no wall. Everything is expensive and there is noting to do. Just drive the extra km and get a proper place to stay.

Very dry but a good stop to rest with aircon and pool. Clean and comfortable. Just no wifi as per advert and price on website less than when signing in. Great coffee shop, restaurant and grocery store in walking distance.

Stayed for two nights in the chalets.Reception ( late at night) via the OK Express was friendly and efficiently handled. Rooms was clean , comfortable and comfortable

The chalets are very nice and comfortable for 3x pax.I would recommend this place for both leisure staying and also if you wanna rest.A room for 3 people for a night is just R1100. Very affordable of you ask me.

It was a welcome overnight camping stopover for use travelling from Cape Town back to Johannesburg. Basic but with all the essentials.

Very friendly service from time we made enquires. Clean ablutions, electricity and pet friendly. Nice to go walking in fields .ok express available for all your goodies and sit down or take away padstal with the best vetkoek and mince.Definitely a place to stop for a few days on your way

Check in was easy at the BP garage. We stayed next to the backpackers upstairs. Was concerned about my car that stood outside all night, but was assured that there is 24h security - car was fine the next morning. Friendly people and great coffee at Patriot!

If I could rate less than Zero stars i truly would !!Slept there 1x night but NEVER again. Pitch dark at the back where rooms ...Arrived there after 18:00 after moving from Blouberg & had 2x Traumatized doggies in the car .. Movers collected furniture around 14:00 the afternoonMost Unfriendly staff I've ever experienced.* First they had to go look for the Receipt book after I tried explaining to them my dogs are in the car. They thought it was a Joke !!Surely Lekkeslaap informed them of the booking ..* Doggie den was not as pictured either. Will never book through Lekkeslaap .. ever* People from Army was next door & walked up & down making a Huge noise, etc ...Stayed in Chrizaan Guest House, Colesburg for two (2) nights with Fabulous service for less than Komkyk Accommodation - cannot compareDisgusting is all I can say !! Luckily I only get caught me once ...

Totally understated, this little place is fantastic for a quick stop over, even for 2 ladies. The Fuel Station/Accommodation staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a little restaurant that is open until 20:30 and the accommodation is tastefully decorated and very clean and neat. All at very affordable prices.
