Altogether lovely experience to dine here. A great variety of delicious vegetarian dishes. Genuinely lovely service. A delight. Highly recommend eating at or from this excellent restaurant.

The food was really great. Lots of flavours and every bite was making me crave more. Had beef with rice. The service was good. There were times we waited a bit for someone to take our order or to pay. The location where it is located is a bit dodgy and you are lucky if you can find parking. The inside is very Thailand decurated. Good for business lunch or going out with friends to have a bite. No kids play area and also not wheelchair friendly.

How have I lived in Cape Town for most of my life and never eaten at Taste of Thailand? The food is absolutely delicious - flavoursome, generous portions and reasonable prices. We were assisted by Nicholas who was professional, efficient and friendly. Great to see the restaurant was full on a Friday evening, and we still got our food pretty quickly. We will definitely be back!

Whilst not much to look at from the outside, inside is quite fine.amd cosy.Tom Yum soup medium heat was hectically Chilli... we shared it and were both sweating profusely, so be warned.Pad Thai was divine, a winner. It's probably one of the better versions we've eaten.Aromatic Beef was an underwhelming portion, and even though the sauce was delicious, the beef was tough.Notwithstanding the minor shortcomings, when next in Cape Town, we'll be back!

The flavor of the sweet and sour chicken didn’t disappoint. The sauce is a rich plum save. The egg fried rice was not spared. We had more than enough. The spring rolls were light and flaky and stuffed with vegetables and meat.

Best value Thai restaurant. Hor Mok Talay is very special. Well worth supporting! Generous, we shared a delicious Tom Yum soup and each got a full bowl, warmed up the winter.

Taste of Thailand never disappoints. This was my second visit and the food was as good as the first visit. The different flavours of the many dishes was a gastronomic adventure. The curries are a must if you love spicy food, otherwise stick to the stir fries. The coconut soup, the dim sum were all also divine. Order a few main dishes to share with rice for the table, then prepare yourself for a taste explosion!

Absolutely delicious and as real as it gets! Having lived in Thailand for 2 years, I have a craving (and ever going problem!) for Thai food! When myself and my girlfriend moved back to Cape Town we set out on a mission to find what we deemed the most authentic Thai food experience you can get, and this is it! Plain and simple menu, all the favorites from the Land of Smiles, and the flavor that takes you back to the sois (streets) of Phuket and the likes!Highly recommended!

Never disappointed with the food - excellent, tasty and great portions. Atmosphere is an authentic nod to Thailand. Unfortunately, the few wait staff they have can barely cope when the restaurant is at capacity. For better service, I would suggest trying to go during the week when the restaurant is not as busy. Either that, or the restaurant needs more wait staff for the busy nights.On one occasion, we were also not happy about only being told at the end of our meal that the card machine is not working and we needed to either EFT or pay cash (more cash than what the average person would carry on them). To the restaurant, please get SnapScan as a backup option to assist with the inconvenience.

I had chicken basil fried rice - it is on the same A1 level as my other favorite place, crisp, green, fresh only thing missing is the soft fried egg which makes the dish creamy.
