We had a great time at Klipboks. We were 5 adults and 2 children. The place is excellent for a gathering. We loved the rustic charm and nonstick egg pan!! Beds are very comfortable. Thanks Cha for a great time. See you soon for our wind chime that we left behind ;-)

This a really wonderful setting. It was more rustic than we imagined but still very comfortable. We stayed in Klipboks and although very charming with lovely fire places I would say it is more of a summer location. Handles a group of 8 easily.

We had an amazing weekend stay at the Farmhouse cottage with 4 adults and 2 kids. The inside fireplace, outside braai and outdoor hot tub was amazing. We had everything we needed and was blown away by the sunset view. We will definitely come back to explore the hiking trails next time

Horrible experience at porcupine hills. Our toilet was broken when we got there on the Friday, It was so bad raw sewage was leaking out at the back of our hut. Instead of being offered alternative accommodation we were offered a refund. My wife has been following up for 2 weeks and they still haven’t paid. Today she received a rude call from the owner informing her they had to sand down the table??? There candles wax on the table, and that is the reason they have not paid the refund. I’m sorry but if your outside lights worked we wouldn’t have needed to use candles would we? We have all been through loadshedding you don’t need to sand down candle wax. If you like the smell of raw sewage in the morning this is the place for you for the rest of us stay far away .

Lovely experience as you're immersed in nature and the dogs loved it.ProsPet friendly.Houses are well stocked with general purpose goods.Houses are very clean - Great detail taken.Plenty of wood on site and service available if more is required.Staff are friendly and helpful.Excellent location.ConsThe shower in our cottage did not have hot water. Had to drive back to reception to ask to have it fixed which it was. Thanks but still an inconvenience.Although pet friendly, there are other dogs on the property so it might cause potential conflict.A lot of insects, specifically ticks. My partner managed to get two nasty spider bites and we had to thoroughly check ourselves and animals when we got home for ticks.

What a treat. Loveliest of cottages. Cotton sheets and private pool, need we say more. Incredible walks for all levels with ample birding opportunities. Beautiful yoga platform at Klipbok. Lots of combos of accommodation if going with a group of friends.

Very cool place, I actually initially didn't like the split of the rooms at klipboks, but it was perfect. The outside kitchen inspired me to get a move on and build my own at my property. It was amazing, the walk we went on the majik forest trail then hot tub with the firepit. Well done!

An absolutely beautiful location. We booked out Farmhouse, Klipboks, Eyrie and the River Cottages for a team event and my team really enjoyed every second of it! The service from Kim, Clayton and Kate was immaculate and they were super accommodating. I would definitely go back!

Incredibly beautiful, tranquil full kitted cottage in the Diepklowe Nature Reserve. We stayed in Eyrie House, which is the most beautifully decorated accommodation with inside and outside fire places, as well as an outside lounging deck overlooking the mountains. During the day we hiked and came back and bathed by our pool. Can't wait to go back!

My partner and I just spent a few lovely days and starstrewn nights at the Private Forest View Yurt - We knew we were in for a treat, and I'm glad to say our stay was even more magical than we could have imagined.Attention to detail, simple luxuries, and great hosts make this little patch of paradise a spot we hope to return to, and soon! Thanks so much to hosts Kate and Tobin
